I like this: Spend the next 6 weeks learning about your relationship with food. The bottom line is, once you lose the weight you must maintain it and if you don’t learn anything during the process of losing you may not have the tools to keep it off.

Hi there. I'm 42 and yes, I used to run too and would love to get back to it. I find the only way I will regularly exercise is if I have a responsibility to do so (i.e. team sports or sessions I'm booked into) - I'm no good at self-motivation. So please befriend me Ann & Sue and we can help each other.

Wow - you weren't kidding were you! Completely different (and very handsome face). It always strikes me how much younger people look when they lose weight - it's a double win!

I'd like to join. Today is the first day of my 'transformation course' with a personal trainer. The goal she has set is 1 stone in 3 months but I'd like to smash that! Current weight: 228 lbs. November Goal: 218. Final goal: 161 lbs Good luck everyone!

I am catching the train to rehearsal tonight (which means lots of walking to and from train) rather than take the car, purely so I can go Pokemon hunting. So I think it's great!

I have a mantra: no exercise, no booze! If I exercise enough calories to consume alcohol, then I do. Otherwise I (try to) abstain.
-
Yep. I have done extensive research on no/low alcohol beers and finally found one that can satisfy that beer craving.

Wow - that's brilliant - well done. Are you eating back exercise calories? I'm on 1200 and dream of 1760!

Congratulations! 18 lbs in 2 months is amazing
-
Wow - down all the way - congrats!

I've been reading all the posts above, and reviews on Amazon, and really like the sound of Leslie Sansone workouts. Only question is: which one should I get? Votes please for the best ones!

I have Les Mills online, which gives you Body Combat 20-30 min classes, as well as others like Grit (horrifically hard!) and Sh'zam etc. It's only £9.99 a month. It's not as good as being in a real class with the music pounding and peer group motivation, but it's a great substitute. It's my all time favourite class too,…

I'm a massive advocate of Nordic Walking (with poles). It's social, gentle on joints, gets you outdoors, and is great for people with various injuries.

Hi Lisa. I'm from London and only 5 days in to my return to MFP. I definitely need all the buddies I can get so feel free to add me. Well done on your 40lbs lost - that's brilliant!
