This is common knowledge.

My opinion is that ephedra/ephedrine is fine in moderation. It's legal around the globe, just not here because people abuse it.

While I've never been to a nail salon I definitely agree. This is a great feeling! I love when the hard work pays off

You probably didn't even kill anyone taking that selfie while driving, now THAT'S success!

Your ability to hijack this thread is beautiful!

Thanks man. Does height have a lot to play with that, though? I'm 6 foot 3.5 and I still have a ways to go before my abs show more. At this point its just the top 2 Diabetes runs in my family and like my father I store 90% of my weight right in my stomach.

I just said other carbs are important. So yes, obviously they should worry. You simply stated what was MORE important.

Sugar is ABSOLUTELY a greater concern to diabetics. Other carbs are important, yes, but if you are diabetic a sugary food/drink can kill you a lot quicker than white bread.
-
"No I'm sorry - but if you are diabetic then Carbs are HUGELY important - not sugar" Um... sugar is a carb :) You just incorrectly paraphrased what the moderator said above you.

Lol I certainly didn't mean to offend you, just wanted to correct your misinformation and hopefully educate you so you wouldn't comment on things you do not know about moving forward. Since your knowledge of the glycemic index seems limited to repeating what others say as if it were your own thoughts, I thought it was the…

If you are diabetic, pre-diabetic, or even insulin resistant monitoring sugar is HUGELY important. Based on her post I would imagine sugar intake is important to her for a specific reason. Now, to answer the question at hand, MFP calculates sugar intake by first using your macro-nutrient % for carbohydrates and from there…

Hey Bill, welcome!

Yes, I get a tiny bit little light headed at times but I'm also very sensitive to carbs so it's what works. My biggest concern right now is making sure I get my 200+ grams of protein because when losing I want to do everything possible to keep my size and strength and just lose fat. 1 gram of protein for my lean body mass…

I've had a lot of success lately trying to get most of my carbs in before and after my workouts. This has really helped me maintain/build muscle while losing fat. I'm doing 50% protein this cutting cycle and it's really helped.

I know for most people the lower your BF% gets the harder it gets physically. That's definitely the case for me. I've been trying to prepare for this mentally because it is really tough when the weight loss slows down, but I refuse to get frustrated. Good luck!
-
I'd cut now and then do a clean bulk so your gains show more... just my 2 cents.

I'm in recovery and I'm having success in all areas of my life. 1 promotion away from BIG MONEY!

For me, nothing is as rewarding as progress. Seeing the change on the scale, in the mirror, and how my clothes fit- feeling better; that is what motivates me!
-
What works for me is 50% protein 30% fat 20% carbs (spread out before and after weight training)

I was going to to reply but this is pretty much perfect.

I simply stepped in because she was rude to another member. Her messages to that young lady were rude with a tone of superiority and a holier-than-thou attitude. On the first page she was called small and old! Did you not read that?? Anyway, I'm done here. Good luck!
-
"I just truly was trying to help. It is unfortunate that you refuse to get it." Funny, I don't remember her asking for help. I must be wrong, though. You must need to have made over 1,000 posts to MFP to give unsolicited advice. Anyway, have a great day everyone!

Do you think you are the grandmaster of weight loss or something? Talk about an ego, wow. How DARE someone refuse to agree with your point! LOL.

I agree with pretty much everything you said! I think people are terrified of being even mildly hungry. Willpower is a powerful tool. It's sad seeing people acting petty and trying to discredit you for having a strong mind and dedication. It's probably jealousy, IMHO. If your protein is on point, along with the strength…
