Yup. But the CDC already admitted that the reason they don't require a test after 5 days is partially because of lack of testing. 🤷‍♀️

T&T didn't tell me to retest after quarantine. My job which pays separate covid pay said specifically I didn't need to be retested to come back to work. It is strange but I guess they are considering the lack of testing available right now.

I didn't have to report my positive results but I did get a call from the test and trace corps. They keep track of positive cases here in NYC. But that's only because I got tested at a NYC site. Home testing has no requirements to report. But there aren't many home tests available in stores here.

Thats what happened to me on Christmas @COGypsy I've been in bed since and have lost most appetite and have been so tired. I'm also double vaxxed and not scheduled to have a booster until Feb after 6 months.

What are you talking about? My Chinese fiancé was raised as most in Chinese culture to blindly obey elders and never question anything they say. No matter how disrespectful the elder in question is being. There are a lot of cultures that are all about "respecting your elders". Respect again is given when received. 🤷‍♀️

Respect is given when received. Being an elder does not give one the right to be a tool or a racist ahole. I feel in a lot of cultures, elders have this "right" to be as disrespectful as possible with no recourse other than to obey blindly.
