I have horrible knees so land exercise is pretty much a no go. I do Aqua Aerobics and Aqua Jog...good low impact stuff, great calorie v urn and an all over body workout. We also use weights in the pool and that is great for toning muscles! Good luck on your journey. I have lost 53lbs since March 29th!

I'm on a higher than recommended dose of Lexapro. It has helped me tremendously! And I've lost 53lbs since March 29th of this year all while on this medication!

Why cheat? Tgat connotates a bad thing. Instead, use your daily calories wisely and if you have a hankering for something work it into your calories! In this way you won't find yourself feeling deprived and then bingeing on bad stuff! Stay within your calories

If you take your calories to 1200 and go low-sodium, low-fat while pushing water you will lose!

Always remember that hitting your goal weight is not the "finish line"!!! Keeping weight off is a life long process and what you did to remove the weight you will have to continue to do for the rest of your life. So, working out and watching what you eat, calories out / in, are going to be lifelong habits!

I really like the HMR! It's really helpful to have that accountability and support by going to the classes. Also, learning new strategies and how to maintain the new scale number is going to be crucial in Phase 2. I really like the taste of thier foods and shakes. I do 3shakes 2 entrees with "more is better" ...that's the minimum prescription...this is phase 1 of the program. I find that if i have a protein shake for breakfast i feel much more fueled and ready gor my day and workout. I used to never eat breakfast but now I find that I really enjoy my first 170calories of the day!
