Hey there! I'm MJ, I'm 34, 5'9" SW: 220 CW: 164 GW: 155 I'm not into any sports, really, but I want to feel athletic and also want a great butt! I love working out and love trying new things. Weightlifting, boxing, yoga, paddle boarding, running, hiking, I'll try anything. I'm pretty consistent about working out…

Burpees and mountain climbers. *Barf*

I like trying new things! SUP board yoga, aerial yoga, kayaking, hiking, karate, zumba. Mixing it up keeps it interesting to me.

I started using Amazon subscriptions - love the convenience of having things we use regularly delivered to the front door.

I was so happy to see your post! I'm 2 weeks post-op from a tummy tuck after losing 50 pounds this past year (and a total of 130 pounds since my heaviest weight). I used iifym.com (if it fits your macros) to get my maintenance calories for sedentary, and it was actually more than what I was eating. I think it said…

You look beautiful, and those 8 pounds will come right back off! Happy New Year!

Great work everybody!

I love trying all sorts of new classes, but aerial is definitely one of the most fun of everything I've tried!

Thanks! You too!

I hit up ebay for a lot of my in-between size pants once my old size got too baggy, and I wasn't ready to buy a new wardrobe - saved me!

Training for a half marathon trail run. Looking for things I love like hiking and camping and making them happen more often!

Loved reading about everyone's perspectives on successful weight loss. I've lost 42 pounds this year, 122 pounds total in the last 8 years, and I still have about 20 pounds to go, but I think the main thing that clicked this time around is that I just have to keep showing up. I have to keep going to the gym, I have to keep…

I started eating oatmeal in the mornings with a spoonful of peanut butter and a scoop of whey isolate powder (I like chocolate). It gives me 37 grams of protein in the morning. I still struggle most days to hit my protein goal, but I come close a lot of the time.

Great post! Love reading everyone's responses. I started out with a goal to get back to the size I was in this one picture my husband took a couple of years ago. I remember seeing that picture and thinking "I still thought I was fat then, but I actually looked great in those jeans!" I'm 5'9", and I weighed 170 pounds in…

Such an inspiring post and a great way to start a Monday morning! Thank you for sharing! I've also lost a little over 40 pounds so far this year and feel like I've taken on a whole new mindset to getting healthy. And - like you - I've started running - I like running in the woods - and have my first trail run half marathon…

Ha ha! It was a little chilly here this morning - plus ya know, Monday - ew - so yes, getting out of bed this morning was a for real struggle. Hope it's a great day!

@calliebaker395 It took me a long time to notice - maybe 30 pounds - about the same amount of time before my co-workers started noticing. It was so funny when my co-workers started noticing. They'd say things like, "You started working out?" or "You're losing weight?" and I'm all like, "Umm, yes, for the past 10 months...…

Gained .8 - boooo. BUT I understand what contributed to it, and I am not deterred! I've got my plan in place this week for meals and workouts, so I am definitely expecting a loss in the coming week.

I have a tummy tuck scheduled for Feb. 2nd. After losing over 40 pounds this year, I'm so close to my goal! I want to lose 15 pounds by Jan. 1st, so I can finally transition into maintenance after 9 years of yo-yoing up and down.

I felt the exact same way when I found out that this is an actual diagnosable thing in the DSM that many many people are suffering with. For a long time I just believed I was a loser with no will power. It's been nearly 11 months since I last binged, but I don't look at it as something that is cured but more like something…

I bought an individual microwave bag from our work snack area, and it says: Service Size 2 Tbsp unpopped (makes about 4.5 cups popped) Servings per bag: about 2.5 Calories 2 Tbsp unpopped 170 1 cup popped 30 So I'm thinking I have to multiply 4.5 cups popped * 2.5 servings = 11.25 cups popped * 30 calories = more than I…

@divcara So inspiring and true!

270 days of logging! Being able to wear a dress out Saturday night that didn't fit me this past Christmas when I received it as a gift!

I've definitely had my time of being the fattest chick in the weights section, and I definitely had those days of feeling like, "I just can't do this today." It's can sometimes feel like a meat market or a prison yard in the weights section. I started this journey of getting in shape with a personal trainer, and…
