  • @RangerRickL I agree-- dulce de leche is a delicious addition! I first discovered its amazingness on a trip to Colombia. My in-laws are Peruvian so the alfajores were a delicious homemade treat!

  • Yes x3 Barely made it under (but currently walking in circles around the apt while I type this to add some more steps) Went to my in-laws for a homemade lomo saltado lunch with alfajores (cookies) so just did a very light dinner and no wine. For exercise did an hour walk and my Fitbit also auto-logged an 18 minute "aerobic…
  • Yes x3 In normal life I enjoy walking or biking outside, though on vacation I like things like frolicking in a lake, hiking, ziplining, scuba diving, etc. Today I actually did 3 different exercises, 2 of which were outside! I went on a 100 minute 7:30 am walk with my husband (I was supposed to be sleeping in, but woke up…
  • Yes x3 Another early morning walk and then decided to do my workout right after that before it got too hot since our a/c is broken (we called an hvac company who will be coming Tuesday... but during the day it's about 85 inside the house :/ ) For dinner I used up some of the food I stockpiled and froze in March-- chicken…
  • Yes x3 Did another 6:30 am 80 minute walk. Yesterday I wasn't feeling hungry but today I was craving chips. Not sure if it was b/c it was the last day of online learning with my students, but I snacked a lot (though I logged it). Regardless, I still ended up comfortably under due to having 13k steps. So no pass days yet!
  • Yes x3 Long mid-morning walk and the usual workout. Wasn't super hungry and ended up about 500 cal under which is unusual. Lovely salmon with a shallot vinaigrette for dinner!
  • Yes x3 though used almost all my exercise calories. Even though I'm not a morning person, we woke up early to do a 6:30 am walk because we knew we wouldn't be able to get in an evening walk due to the 7pm curfew since we had a 6pm Zoom call with family. So had a beautiful early morning walk with few people around. Did…
  • Yes x3 Several hundred under budget for a good start to June. Did my 25 min calisthenics workout and then my husband and I rushed to start our usual evening walk in time to finish by our new 7 pm curfew that was announced today since we live in DC. We finished our 80 min walk at 7:05, getting back almost in time.
  • Great end to the month! Officially ending with only one pass day and today was 200 in the green. Long beautiful walk. This is my first time ever having fewer than three pass days! :)
  • Yes x3 Ate a lot -- well into my exercise calories -- but still stayed 200 under. It feels wrong to eat so many exercise calories and so many calories in general, but I did do a lot today: 2 hour walk (randomly woke up early so ended up going for a 6:30am walk which is unusual for me as I usually sleep in), 50 min workout,…
  • Yes x3 Under on caloroes, 25 min workout, and 7k of steps even though was only indoors today
  • Yes x3 Almost done May!
  • Yes x3 Amazing how now a 45 minute walk feels short! :) I expect to be in the winner's circle since I'm only at one pass day this month! :)
  • I'd highly recommend joining this challenge! I've been in it since August. I had some months over the winter where I had a bunch of pass days and didn't make the winner's circle, but the great thing about this group is that they still support you and keep you focused on making better habits, even if you're not doing great…
  • Yes x3 Had a wine, bread, cheese, and calabrese salami night while researching about chili pastes (looking to get gochujang and sambal oelek, both of which I've enjoyed in the past) and mustard. @lexabeep congrats on losing inches! That's what matters the most-- weight could be water weight or food or increases muscle. If…
  • Yes x3 10k steps and 25 min calisthenics. Had a delicious grilled cheese that was simple to prepare. Put fig jam on, then sauteed sweet peppers glazed in balsamic, then cheese. Delicious paired with a side salad.
  • Yes x3 Large home-cooked lunch at my in-laws' house today then followed it with a long walk and light dinner.
  • @HASWLRS I agree on auto-recognize. Even though it will add my walk later, I like the greater detail it gives me when I track via the watch. And for biking if I rely on auto-track it will give me a bunch of steps and think I'm walking part of the time which just feels inaccurate so I like to actively track.
  • Welcome back to those who've been here for months (or years!) and welcome to the newcomers! I've been in this group since August 2019 and after a slightly lax winter I had a great March (4 passes), April (3 passes), and May (1 so far). I'm excited to check in each day in June and have this group help keep me on track…
  • Yes x3 Stayed under by 50 (eating back exercise calories). Made enchiladas which were delicious. I've started using my Fitbit watch to directly start an exercise when doing calisthenics workouts which I think leads to a more accurate calorie count than logging it afterwards in the app. I'm sure whether to use weights or…
  • First pass day for May. Little over on cheese and space for chocolate since my Blue Apron cooking meal was 910 calories. My Fitbit has had issues connecting to my device the past few hours so I just closed out my diary at where it was-- so my diary doesn't include my 30 min workout but also doesn't include the extra cheese…
  • Yes x3 Rest day from calisthenics but went on a neighborhood walk for 50 min. Also did a rest day from wine/alcohol (have been doing 2-3 of those per week). Ate well and stayed under my limit. We ordered some crunchy peanut butter and have been enjoying it the last week. Satisfies cravings in multiple areas, but have to be…
  • Yes x3 About 130 over my no-activity allotment but since I did a workout plus 90 min walk I ended up several hundred under my final calorie allotment. Good day!
  • @Chinkiri congrats!!! Yes x3 Ate a lot but logged it all and was under using exercise calories due to 15 k steps + half hour workout
  • Yes x3 My Fitbit gave me >600 exercise calories for 12.5 k steps and a 30 min calisthenics workout... I don't trust that number haha. Literally 200+ cal more than expected for that level of exercise. Regardless, I was only 200 over my not-active allotment, meaning I was well under the ridiculous level, and a decent amount…
  • Yes x3 Stayed well under on calories. Went on a 75 minute walk with my husband and we also planted some flowers, tomatoes, and herbs on our balcony!
  • Yes x3 Was considering taking my first pass day and eating extra treats but ended up not instead. Felt great!
  • Yes x3 NSV is once again my # of pass days. Last month my NSV was having only 1 pass day by this point, and I ended the month in the winner's circle for the first time in several months. This month's NSV is that I have 0 pass days by today! I actually think I've never had a month with 0 pass days by the halfway point. I…
  • Yes x3 Didn't drink wine today plus went on a 70 min walk with my husband so ended up well under. Glad to be using less of my exercise calories today.
