  • This is a great group-- trying to stay at 3 or fewer pass days is very motivating, but even if you don't, this is a supportive community with just the right amount of accountability and support! I hope you join!
  • Pass day #4. Oh well-- still better than the last two months!
  • Yes x3. Neighborhood walk and under on calories. @cilia2k so sorry; keeping you and your family in my prayers
  • yes x3 Today was an interesting day. Took my students outside and set up a series of challenges for a group of interested students: jumps and then a speed course running on these wooden bench things. I timed them and they were focused on beating their previous times for PRs. I also participated and then joined in a game of…
  • yes x3 Here is a photo of me working on my kong vault at parkour today:
  • yes x3 Three pass days. We'll see if I can hold out!
  • Yes x3 Between leading a field trip (had the kids walk 25 min to the location) and 14k steps by tonight, 9mi roundtrip biking, and an hour of jumps in parkour I had a tonn of exercise calories. Only ate half of them and left a good amount as buffer. Feels good!
  • Yes x3 Went in a walk to the grocery store partly for groceries but mostly to get myself out and moving on a holiday. Stayed under though hardcore craving chocolate at night. Time for bed!
  • Yes x3 Used most of my calories at a giant lunch at my in-laws' house. But since I'm in this challenge I logged everything, had just part of a protein bar for dinner, did 20 min of push-ups/lunges/situps/stretches, and walked back and forth while watching TV to get my steps up a bit! Came in under though a bit hungry. Time…
  • Pass day #3. Went out for Valentine's weekend dinner at the restaurant where we had our wedding reception. NSV is that I'm halfway through the month and am at 3 pass days. Normally that's not great, but it's much better than my Dec and Jan so I know I'm in a good place!
  • Pass day #2. Valentine's day in with fondue and crab cakes :)
  • yes x3 Today I was an assistant at a cooking school for a couples date night class so stayed busy walking and busing dishes. Fitbit gave me 800 calories from it and I used them all for the 9pm post-work dinner the chef made :)
  • yes x3 Agree with slow and steady. I've had mfp friends that post like crazy for a few months with amazing fast losses and then disappear. I much prefer friends like we have in the UAC who post regularly and have steady losses or long-term maintenance.
  • yes x3 Feels good to have so many on target days!
  • yes x3 Tried the 72% choc bar today and loved it! 92 was a bit bitter, but 72 is delicious :) Keeping it in the kitchen so I just take one to the TV room after dinner :)
  • Thanks @7Liana7 @bold_rabbit @Impala007 @nodm @stella7x7 for the suggestions! I found the Ghirardelli bars that several of you recommended at the grocery store today and tried them out. So far I tried the 90% one which was great for my chocolate craving but maybe I want a little more sweetness. I also bought the 70 so will…
  • Hi everyone, last month I asked for help in finding substitutes for chips and you all came up with amazing ideas! This month I'm back to ask for help with substitutes for another kind of chip: chocolate! I love having a bite of dark chocolate after my dinner, but with choc chips it's too easy to just keep grabbing small…
  • yes x3 Lazy day with very few steps but I did some at-home workouts to hit the 20 min mark (push-ups, plank, sit ups, squats, lunges, and stretching)
  • yes x3 My drink of choice is sparkling water. I have a SodaStream and drink liters every day. I also like Lemon vitamin c herbal tea.
  • yes x3 though barely under But had 17k steps and down 0.8 lb when weighing in this morning!
  • yes x3 passes used: 1 of 3 Another day well under. Hardly had to use any of my exercise calories and left several hundred on the table. Day 3 of no wine so a nice mini-detox (I know 3 in a row isn't much, but for me it's a helpful change.) Will probably have wine again in the next few days but want to keep up the habit of…
  • yes x3 passes used: 1 of 3 My goals for this month are to make the winner's circle and to lose the weight I put on in Dec/Jan from vacation and pass days (approx 3-4 lb).
  • yes x3 pass days used: 1/3 Two hours of exercise today. Parkour had us jumping up onto boxes and metal rails, challenging ourselves for bigger heights when we could. I accidentally ran into a wooden box while trying to jump up onto it and now have a huge bump on my shin. 😂Let's see how it looks tomorrow... I actually…
  • yes x3 Was under despite the super bowl. Exercise was airport walking + some push-ups and squats
  • Was at my grandmother's house in Florida. Did a leisurely half hour walk but was way over on calories b/c grandma's house :) So pass day 1, but I'm determined to keep tomorrow light and on track despite airport travel.
  • Thought I'd be okay today and started the day off tracking all my food but my flight had a two hour delay so I filled the time with food haha so will likely end up another of many pass days. But... I'm pretty sure I finally convinced my husband to try out the UAC for February! Looking forward to it!
  • Hi, I've been a member since August but January was a terrible month for me. I'm determined to aim for the Winner's Circle in February since I think having that as a goal helps me avoid taking a bunch of pass days. Excited!
  • Ended the day just under on calories. Exercise walking!
