6.3lbs in 2 weeks is a lot. That should be motivation enough! Congrats. Do you really want to give up now when you're so close?

This is from an article in the NY Times...Does the timing of your food after you’re finished exercising make any difference? Answer Post exercise, my rule of thumb, I like for people to eat something within 15 minutes. The reason for that is that the enzymes that help the body re-synthesize muscle glycogen are really most…

I did the P90x I attempted the P90x, the instructor said that you need to eat food within 15 minutes...anything after that and your body starts to cannibalize itself!

I'll comment you 3 times a week.

I've been hearing a lot about that. Would it accurately track her hiking with all the inclines and whatnot?

I thought I needed this site for motivation and support but looking in the mirror and seeing progress is all the motivation I need now. I feel…

People before me got it right...you don't have to go to the gym. Being an ER nurse, taking care of kids and a house is a lot of work. While at work, most of us burn a lot of calories, but by eating poorly we throw all of that away. Just my two sense. It's going to get better, you made the right choice by coming here.

Ok, I have some advice....on your breaks....what do you do? For lunch, why not eat an hour or so before your lunch break, that way you can walk for the duration of the break. I used to work in an office setting and I never liked having to sit for so long. If you can eat healthy....I mean really healthy...and walk at least…
