I heard that it takes 21 days to change or create a "habit". So start today and in 21 days, you will have formed a new habit. Running. I know, that for me, I have to think short term. A month is short term. 21 days is shorter. Don't know if it'll work for you, but it helped me. Best of luck!

You are doing great! Congratulations on your new human!

I treated myself to a new belt - I actually have to wear one now with my clothes:) I want to get new clothes, a size or 2 smaller (OMG!) but I've got more lbs. to go. But I but I bought a new belt, since I will be wearing one until I hit my goal, which is a reality now! Feels wonderful!

I agree. Probably water weight. Salt will do that for sure, mix it with dehydration, then rehydration. Your body is probably saying "WTF?"

That's so fantastic! You should feel great about that number!
-
Thats eexactly what i did yesterday. Much MUCH better. Thank you!
-
Ive been pushing them for sure. Thank you.
-
Nope. Just my breakfast.

I'm 100% sire that you are correct :) :)

That used to happen to me back when I could run. No clue what causes it.

Hi There! I'm just over the border in Conway, NH. It's absolutely freezing, windy, and sheer winter. Add me as a friend if you want. I've been on here for a whopping 25 days but it's been great. I wish you the best of luck on your journey!

I just had a large forearm piece done a few weeks ago. I got it, then when home and continued my regular routine. It's just as lovely and bold colored as the first day I got it. I doubt it matters much. Never heard of not showering and stuff like that after getting ink. Just no chlorinated pools and sea water.

Thanks all. I have really been pushing my quads lately. I'm drinking plenty of H2o. I used to take Magnesium for general wellness, but stopped a while back. I'll definitely try taking it again, and see what I can do about upping my potassium. You are all very helpful. Thanks!

I get achy when I don't exercise for sure. Maybe we're just two twitchy women:)

I have only lost a tiny bit of weight so far, but my energy level has gone up and my overall attitude has improved. I do sleep better for the most part, and my skin looks better- probably from my increased water intake. Looking forward to what comes next:)

I agree with everyone above. All smart moves. I just make sure that I get more cardio in if I know I'm going to drink. I also cut my drinks (wine) with flavored seltzer water. It makes it last longer. Just a mind trick that works for me.

It sounds like you have the right mindset about being healthy. Don't worry about the "skinny" girls at the gym, that'll just drive you mad. You can totally handle this. I wish you the very best of luck and a wonderful journey back to health! Feel free to add me as a friend. I can help motivate you!

It's going to be really tough. Sounds like you're tougher than this challenge, though. Yes. Any activity will help, but like everyone has said, you've got to be honest with your food logging. I find it easier if I eat pretty much the same thing at the same time of day. Lots of salad (very little dressing or vinegar), lean…

The best that I have found is Old Cape Cod Sesame Ginger. Only 40 calories per serving but packed with flavor. Taste very good on any meat or tofu that I toss into my salads as well. It's tough finding a good flavored dressing that doesn't add 100 calories. I also use straight up balsamic vinegar from time to time. It's…

You ladies can add me if you want. I'm relatively new as well (again...) Need to lose 30lbs. I'm pretty active on this sight as it is part of my new life and my new lifestyle in general. Time to make a change!
-
That's the key! I totally agree with you because that is what worked for me. Find something you love to do.

Great job! You look very healthy. You should feel proud!

I have never been to a gym, well, I've been to physical therapy and that was like a gym. I messed up before trying to lose weight. I was doing workouts that I did not enjoy, therefore, I said screw it. I'm not doing it. Now I have 30 lbs (give or take) to lose. The biggest thing for me was to find things that I enjoy doing…

It sounds about right. I'm on the road a bit for work, and of course, I eat at restaurants, hotels, etc. I find it to be very frustrating trying to stay on track. I've gotten better about where I go to eat now. I'm also sure to bring my phone in with me so I can look calories up on MFP prior to ordering. Pretty much…

I did the same thing....except I tacked on an extra 15lbs just to really do myself in. You aren't a failure, you just needed a reset. So now, I expect you had just that since you're on here right now. No big yank. It's hard for anyone to lose weight I think, if we expect to keep it off. I came back 21 days ago now, and I…

That is fantastic. I definitely see a difference in all of the photos. It's a tough road but so worth it when you see results like yours. Thank You!

Yes to all of the above. I am wearing running shoes, with arch support and I'm short
-
Thank you all. It seems that no matter the foot positioning, it happens. My shoes fit well. I guess it'll have to be tolerated.
-
Nope. Nice smooth movement

I enjoy Morning Start Prime Griller Veggie Burgers on a half of a toasted lavash with goat cheese and ketchup. It's 250 calories or less and very filling. These veggie burgers are the best tasting ones out there, in my opinion. Super quick to make.
