You are all incredibly strong human beings! I know that my drinking has become a relied on crutch. So I'll start right here and this will be my day 1.

This is terribly depressing. I think everyone needs some fresh air and sunshine. Focus on something good for just 5 minutes.

Incredible! Way to go!

Yes log every day. It works.

I think the Samsung health app will work. Maybe.

It's tough being short. I'm just over 5 feet. I'm also trying to drop 30lbs total. It's been about 3 months and I'm about 10lbs away from my goal weight of 130. You will definitely need to work hard but you can do it.

Amazing Grass Pure Vanilla protein. Full of all that is good. Plant based. Low calories, and pro biotic galore. Easy to digest and it tastes amazing. I mix renew life fiber in there for an extra boost. Makes everything happy.

I've tried them all. There is no magic pill. There is nothing that you will buy to make you lose weight. Everything that you need to lose weight is already inside of you. Determination, hard work, and consistency. Those are not on a shelf.

A friend of mine told me that I have to exercise. He's lost 100lbs. Then he said, "you're going to be uncomfortable for a little while. Oh well". So when I'm hating my elliptical, I repeat those words. Yup. It's hard and it IS uncomfortable. But it works.

I've been doing a low carb diet, but some days I get loopy and tired. I think I'm around 50 grams of carbs daily. I don't really crave anything, and my bmi has drastically reduced. I've been on for about 10 weeks and I'm down 22lbs. However, my physique is not even close to yours, nor do I workout at your intensity. I…

I think it really depends on you. I can do 1200 calories, but I actually eat closer to 1700 and then burn off the 500 extra. Otherwise I get a little weak and shaky. I have to net 1200 to lose weight. I think that if you aren't working out and trying to only eat 1200 a day, it would be no bueno.

I do not think that anyone should pay more for health insurance. That's kind of a rotten way of thinking. I also do not think that "skinny people" should get a discount on health insurance. "Fat" and "Skinny" aren't necessarily indicators of well being.

I love love love wine. I drink it every night. I do, however, make sure that I can afford it within my calories. If I get close to my max calories, I just squeeze in an extra cardio session.

I started this journey just this past January. I am loosing slowly but surely and finally broke down and had to buy a new pair of jeans, 2 sizes smaller than what fit me in January. I forgot I purchased them honestly. So I found them in my closet yesterday and was going to wear them....but they are too big. Much too big. I…

Oh "Fat Free" dressings for sure. I just went over this with my hubby, as he is trying to eat in a more healthful way. Fat free...maybe...but still LOADED with empty calories. If it's "Fat Free", it may not be for me:)

I like Amazing Grass Protein Superfood - Vanilla I find the whey and soy proteins hard to digest. Amazing grass has tons of great ingredients that just make you feel good.

I think it was easier AFTER I lost a few pounds. That number on the scale really motivates me. I've never been able to stick with losing weight until this "one last try". I'm like you where I make excuses and always have tomorrow to un-do what I do today. Frankly, I just had it with myself. I weighed in at my highest…

I'm 5'1" and I have a 1200 cal. limit. I started 35 days ago and have been able to ditch 11lbs. It is not easy. At all.

Firstly, I would say to stay within your means. I used to hike alone all the time. It's easy to get caught up in your hike, and all of a sudden, you notice the sun going down. That can be a little scary. Trail maps are fantastic. Always tell someone where you are going and when you think you'll be back. I live in the White…

I agree. I'm about 150 now and I work out daily but notghing high intensity like you due to a brokeen back. I'm on 1200 calories (aiming for 125lbs) and it's tough. I would think that 1310 calories wouldn't fuel you for the workouts you do...good luck on your journey

I guess it's really only been a week and a half that I really haven't lost. I'm probably just being impatient.

I'm weighing and measuring everything. I don't know. I'll give it more time.

2 Cups of Olivia's Baby Butter Lettuce, .5 cups cherry tomato, 1/4 cup of cucumber, 1 oz. of goat cheese. hard boiled egg, Olde Cape Cod Sesame ginger dressing (only 40 cals per serving), and I'll top it off with another protein, either a veggie burger, Gardein Chickn' Strips (Vegan), sometimes some sliced turkey or…

Wonderful insight from you all. Thank you kindly. I thought the same thing, that it was overrated claims.

Good luck to you!

Thank you!

I'm in the same boat but I'm making changes. You've taken the first steps. That's Great! Wishing you all the best!

Ugh! Such a problem this can be. I'm in. I'm not going cold turkey, but I NEED to cut down. I'm a wine at night person. Only 2 I tell myself....then 1 more, then a half. No idea why but it's been a struggle for me for over a year. It sucks.

I work from home as well. And it is tough. I find that if I don't eat breakfast and work out, that it's really tough to try to take a break in the middle of the day to do it. I did get a high top table to work from, so I am standing far more than I was and I can do simple leg lifts etc. while I'm on the computer. Every bit…

My first week I lost 4lbs. I was thrilled, and the following two weeks almost nothing. I think that the increased water weight due to working out is probably accurate. On my 3rd and 4th weeks, the weight is coming off again. I think our bodies need time to adjust to a new schedule (including working out). That makes sense.…
