Good for you for logging everything. It's ok to have the occasional cheat day/meal, just don't let it turn into a cheat weekend. Tomorrow is a new day ;)

Some days I'll eat some of them back, some days I won't. It just depends on how hungry I feel after a workout. I usually like a protein shake after my workouts.

I weigh myself once a day- in the morning after I wake up and use the bathroom. I've tried to cut back to once a week, but that didn't work out so well ;)

I jogged a bit the other day while on my walk. I enjoyed it and I think I'll slowly start getting into more. I would really love even ground though, so I'm thinking about going to a school track for that kind of activity.

Yay! Can't wait for more pictures after you are healed.

Oh I forgot! As for a reward, I really want to get a Fitbit or similar fitness device. 50 pounds lost is what I'm striving for to be able to get it. I need to work hard for my reward!

I don't remember exactly, but I think they said I was carrying 140 pounds of extra weight at 281 pounds (before surgery). I told them that I'd be happy with losing 100 and then going from there to see where I should be. They were fine with that and said it's a positive goal to work towards. So basically my main goal (for…

My weight loss is slowww. I'm 8 weeks out today and have had several stalls already. I'm probably not following everything to a T, but I try everyday. My constant goal is getting enough water, protein is the easy one. I'm down 23 pounds or so. Hoping to start dropping major weight soon. I am happy with my daily activity…

Good luck!

I tried my first spinning class this week. I only lasted 25 minutes of the 45 minute class, but for never trying it I would say that's progress. Hoping to try Zumba soon. I'm definitely going to start taking advantage of the classes at my gym from now on :)

Feel free to add me :)

Congrats. The hardest part is just getting to surgery. Everything else is as easy as you make it. I was hungry from day 1 after surgery. I'm 7 weeks out and still feel hungry. This is something I wasn't expecting as I was told surgery would help with hunger. I'm just trying to eat more proteins to help curb that. Good luck…

I was sleeved 6 weeks ago, and I wish I hadn't wasted so much of my life being obese. Feel free to friend me. I'll answer any questions and provide needed support. Good luck on your decision!

I am also really inspired by all the runners in our group. I hope to run one of these days. ;)

I was able to do 40 minutes on the elliptical machine with no problem. Before just doing 5 minutes would wipe me out. I still feel too heavy on my knees to jog around my neighborhood, but I feel like I want to do it soon After I lose a bit more weight I think I'll try it.

Surgery was the best thing I have done for my health. It's a tool that has and will continue to help me! I wish I had done it years ago! I agree with everyone's comments. Best of luck with your decision (I hope it's 'yes') :)

I'm so sorry to hear this. You definitely should not be feeling like that. I hate that your surgeon is out of town :( If something is wrong it sucks having to wait until Monday. Is there any of your surgeon's staff you can call? Like a nurse or dietitian that could give you advice or help?
-
Oh no. What's going on? :/

I've been walking around my neighborhood at least once per day, usually in the evening when it cools down. It's a 30 minute stroll. I can't wait to get a Fitbit (or something alike) to track my steps every day. I was cleared to get back into the pool, so I started my water aerobics class back up today. It felt really good…

You can add me. I was sleeved on 5/23. Good luck!

I was sleeved on 5/23. Anyone can add me if they'd like :)

I was worried about this as well. I hope you can keep your coverage and get your surgery. Try to stay positive :)

I only brought along comfy clothes, night gown, slippers for walking, hair brush, and my phone/charger (CPAP, but not sure if you use one). The hospital had toiletries, so I didn't bother bringing those. 10 pounds lost is fine enough for getting your liver smaller. Be prepared for your lungs to hurt for a couple hours…

Not sure if the pic will work. First time back to the gym since surgery. Felt great! :)

Looks good. I'm so ready for chicken.
-
No regrets yet.

Update: Highest weight: 282 Weight day of surgery: 278 5 days post-op weight: 278 I'm finally back down to pre-op weight after all the bloat from surgery and IV fluids. I can now start tracking weight loss

I'm sorry it's been delayed. That's frustrating. It's hard to stay on track during the waiting period. Try to use it to your advantage by dropping some pounds, eating better, and getting an exercise routine in place (if you aren't already). It will be a year in June since I attended my weight loss seminar and got the…

My NSV is that I had my surgery! It feels like a major victory. :)

You will do great! I'm so anxious about it. I bought my chewable vitamins today and I'm getting everything ready for surgery tomorrow.
