Slow and steady wins the not so race for me. I do want to do a 5k but right now I am just running for the sheer joy of it!

I've only had one typical cycle since I started losing weight and exercising but...my periods have lightened considerably, the cramps have almost stopped and I have had almost debilitating cramps since I started my cycle *due to severe pcos* and my energy levels have spiked. I also take a one a day women's active metabolism…

I tried a Garmin Vivofit and the display inside broke and crystallized within 3 days of having it...and I promise I was gentle with it. It also didn't keep accurate step count nor did it give me accurate time active. Now I'm using a little bitty clip on thing called a wego elite + and I couldn't be happier. It keeps…

I'd already checked in but darn mfp lost my post. Here I go again: Hello from drizzly, dreary Albany,N.Y. According to the C25k app today is not a run day. Screw that. Then I look out the truck window at the sky. Dank, dark, drizzly. I want to crawl back in bed. It's so warm and inviting. But..on go the shoes..out comes the…

Add me. It's difficult but I'm always in the big truck with my husband. We are in a different city and state every day pretty much. I do cook a lot in the truck but sometimes, like today,I have to pick and choose lesser of evils. Burger King,Sbarro or Starbucks? What will stick to my ribs more and not have me snacking later…

Oh and I'm from Tennessee but travel in an 18 wheeler with my husband. So I can be anywhere along the Eastern seaboard and it can be anytime day or night that I get my C25k in. This morning it was Greenwich,CT at a Flying J where the terrain was a slight incline then decline on way back. Could explain why my legs are still…

5'2 inches tall,207.9 pounds,US size 16 jean,38 or 40 DD/DDD on top depending on time of month. When stared this 21 days ago,was 220,almost a size 20 jean and couldn't even buy a bra off the rack unless a speciality store. Doesn't help that I'm also a petite leg length.
-
Today I will: Log all the calories and stay within range without exercise calories added in Drink at least four bottles of water Walk the dogs (not just potty them) Limit the snacks

I'm new to the community and do not know how to add someone but if you'd like I'll be a buddy. I travel almost full time with my husband in his tractor trailer and face a lot of the same struggles that you do!
