I personally hate to charge batteries, wanted a good display and water resistance. so i bought a garmin vivofit2. battery life should be nearly one year and there were just 2 days out of ~220 now where it went crazy so this is pretty good.

It might be possible to burn 1500kcalories at the gym but only with having a big amount of muscle mass and also using it for maybe 2 hours. but for us - the standard humans - this is not the reality! ;-)

in my opinion there is no real way to avoid cooking the meals by yourself. of course you can also eat preportioned or ordered food but you only have restricted control over calories and also very limited or no control ofver your macros.

Just log EVERY LITLLE THING you eat and if you are a fulltime couch potato it might be a good idea to move a little more. These round about 10000 steps (walking) a day thing is possibly a good start and does not crush your joints that much than running if you are lightly overweight. THIS is really good to know! Tell us…
