All good advice... I also have to watch my sodium because of blood pressure. If I eat canned veggies I rinse it off and I also drink about a gallon of water to keep my system flushed.

Calories in and out works with a person who's hormones are balanced. Also, certain medications can inhibit the heart rate from getting into the fat burn zone. ie blood pressure meds. Track with a heart rate monitor log your food and talk to a good doctor about a full blood panel.

If I go a day not drinking about a gallon of water I retain water and feel like crap. I drink about gallon a day mostly to help my blood pressure and flush out my system. Pure clean filtered water is healing and under rated.
