Just realised I should have added a Small spoon full of ice cream....that would have been heavenly!

My absolute luxury snack is coffee with cashews and raisins....so yum!

What's the best way to measure body fat then?
-
Yes I have. First thing in the morning I will get my bfp checked

I am following a book that I purchased. Yes, outside of this I should get my fat percentage checked...I can do that at the gym. I suppose I should have done this before, so that is my error. I suppose once I know this figure I can determine what my next goals are

I am following a bikini guide program. It has given a guide on which body shape I am (mesomorph) and then given a calorie intake guide including macros based on my starting weight. It includes a weekly strength training programme. I suppose my next step would be to find out my body fat percentage and then I can gauge…

Good idea, I appreciate that

Thanks. I often wonder if that is the case

Heavy lifting 4 days per week and 1 cv session. I need to lose a bit of fat but really it is the toning as I am 59kg and 5ft4. Thanks for your comment

Whilst I am not new to lifting I am fairly new to going it alone and doing my own workouts (having previously done classes and p/t sessions). I am still playing around to see what is best for me, and am very inexperienced when it comes to what will work best. But my training currently consists of 5 x 1 hour sessions. 2 x…

Ah ok, time it is then. I assumed that I must be doing something right as I am making progress...so I guess just stick with it. I lift weights during my upper/lower body workouts..but at the start and finish if each session I do a little workout to get my heart rate up. Normally consisting of something similar to this.. 20…

This is what I write in MFP diary. As u have no idea how many calories I am burning I write in a 30 mins calisthenics workout. I am normally in the gym for 50 mins-1 hour, but I would rather air in the side of caution and under estimate than over estimate calories burnt.

I have been measuring it as uncooked....but I will be interested to hear what others say

Get yourself in the gym Hun.! I honestly can't believe that anyone in the gym will make fun of you....everyone will be there looking to peruse similar goals! Just remember, you will only walk in for the first time once!!! I joined a new gym this week, and whilst I am a regular gym goer, changing gyms was a huge step for me…

I do exactly this. I am still very new to mfp and still getting to grips with it. I work out 4-5 times per week and add it into my diary as 30 mins calisthenics, which gives me roughly 250 cals. I am in the gym for an hour each time doing mostly weights and HIIT. so I would imagine that I am playing on the side of caution.…

To be honest with you I am slightly uneducated when it comes to this. I had a pt for 1 year who worked my *kitten* off and helped me lose 2 stone. I then tried to go alone to save ££ but became slightly obsessed with eating like a rabbit in order to not gain weight. I am getting there, educating myself each day a little…

Enjoy! I love TRX

That is a great way to think about it, thanks

Definitely book a personal trainer session...it will be money well spent I assure you. I did and now I am hooked on the weights...I hate cardio. If you don't want to do that then please experiment yourself...pick up a light weight to start you off. Good luck

Fab ideas, thanks all
