Basically what im asking for a male at 219, is 1500 a reasonable number?
-
I was hoping to be down to 200lbs by Christmas so thats about 20lbs in 2 months. I had a month and half plateau a while back so that may have ruined that. I would be happy with at least 10 by then.

Im not exactly sure my fat percentage but im 219lbs/5'8" 28yr old. I guess il keep it for now and test it out for a few weeks.

I am weighing and logging everything. Now that I'm not on my feet all day should I change it to not active. It would be bring my calorie intake down to 1500 from 1700. Right now it's set to 2lbs/week lightly active which I started at. If I turn negative calories off then it would not take my steps into account.

I do have negative calories settings turned on and I use activitys on my vivosmart and let connect add it to mfp. I never add an activity into mfp directly. I just wondered because for example today it's given me a negative excerise so I actually can only eat 1600 today according to connect.

I bit more confused, I discovered http://www.iifym.com/tdee-calculator/ and my TDEE on there is 2500 so if thats more accurate than should I be eating more like 2000-2100cals a day? After 55lbs lost my progress has slowed down quite a bit over the last few weeks.

Im wondering if i just shoot for 1700 daily, il be safe.
-
Well im going to stick with it for now as see how it goes, if I'm still stalled Il have to test out adjustments.
-
It was pretty steady for 1 to 2 pounds a week. Yes I do with right my food. I try to stay pretty strict with it. I only adjusted it today so at guess il have to see where things go next few days. Today I actually ate more than 1800, around 2000. I have been gone over before. I drink water like crazy too.

It never would tell me either and just came across that 10lbs rule. I think I may need to switch it to active. I have it at 2lbs a week. Iv lost 27lbs so far no problem and then it just seemed to hang for a few weeks. The 1800 is after I readjusted my current weight.vitnwas 1900 before.

I think this site will be the difference between success and failure since I don't have any personal support around here. Actually turns out a friend of mine from my old city is on here so that helps.

Thanks guys, added you all. I'm excited to get really moving on this.
