I started at 8 stone 10 pounds and I'm now 7 stone 10 pounds, i plan to either stay this weight or get down to no less than 7stone 7pounds. I am 5ft 4.

I didn't receive any help because i still have fat on me and it is very clear I am not 'anorexic' or underweight- any medical help would laugh me away. Anyway I seem to have got past my low stage and I am kind of thankful for it as it made me more determined than I have ever been to better myself and my body.

Thank you for all you're replies! When I wrote my last post I was in a completely different state of mind and VERY unhappy with my body. However each day I have become happier with it and have recently become determined to build muscle and maybe even that number on the scales. However I was very worried to see the number…

Thanks. I am 5ft 4 and a petite build. I go the gym every other day to use the elliptical trainer and bike for 30mins. I also walk no less than 5,000 steps a day and swim for 60mins once a week. I measure my food very precisely and still do. I got a quote of 1,800 from TDEE.

At the beginning I was loosing about 5 pounds a month and the last months I have lost around 2 pounds. But now each day there is an extra pound on the scales. Even though I'm still burning around 200cal each day and eating 1,200maximum.

Thanks for your reply! That does seem to make sense. I am also now trying to build some form of muscle, will this just make me gain weight? Or will this make my metabolism speed up again and I will stay the same weight?
-
Well to be honest MFP seems to say that for me to maintain I should be eating around 1,800 but this just seems far too much for me and I feel that if I do eat anywhere near that much that I will just put the weight back on.
-
Thank you, that makes a lot more sense now! So have I actually reached my goal weight or was I just 'tricked'?
-
I didn't change anything consciously, so must be water weight, thanks!
-
Well I'm pretty sure it is fat, what else could it be?
-
Thanks for your answers, I will start mixing my exercise up more and try maintaining for a while! Although I am not underweight for my height. For 5ft 4, underweight is considered to be under 7stone 9.

I probably should have mentioned that I go to fashion college and am friends with a lot of models in which I am constantly compared to. I know my goal weight is underweight but it's still not as 'underweight' as my model friends.

Thank you for all your answers, i'm 5ft 4 and my picture isnt me, just for inspiration! The muscle deteriorating could be the answer although i do 50 crunches a day to try and maintain my core as i'm taking my grade 8 ballet exam in February. But I really should be doing more strength resistance.
