Congrats on the bike, Tim. Are you happy with that seat? I’ll just say that I occasionally wonder if having a seat like that on my ten-speed when I was younger (and doing 10-20 miles a day) is the source of my prostate issues today, and leave it at that. 😉

10713 Tuesday. I sent my Apple Watch in for battery replacement yesterday, so I won’t be tracking steps for the next week or so until it comes back. Surprised how much I’ve already missed done of the functionality. On the plus side, it appears I can still tell time using an analog watch. 🤷🏻♂️

Everything I know about managing my weight I learned from GoaD and WW meetings. The only way I could be considered an autodidact is that I will occasionally learn from my mistakes. I will just say the medical profession has not been influential - positive or negative - in my journey, and leave it at that.

I’m more likely to forget to breathe. There are times when a meal doesn’t fit its normal slot - usually lunch - due to circumstances. In that case, we’ll do a late lunch/early dinner as our next meal. But it’s a conscious response to circumstances rather than forgetfulness.

I don’t do a lot of soup. Maybe it’s a texture thing; I seem to want more chewing than slurping. I’ve got a variety of canned soups in the pantry in case the Russians invade. I do use Progresso Light soups when I don’t want to cook. A can is fairly filling for 2-6 points.
