The vast majority of our meals are created at home. That’s all the breakfasts and lunches, and all but a few of the dinners. The exception is we like the “all white meat” turkey pot pies from Raymond’s Turkey Farm That may be one or perhaps two per month. We do have “frozen dinners”, but they’re pre-portioned meals we’ve…

I’m still in the Red zone, but I did get my official monthly “free” extension at Studio and my daily weigh-in at home Thursday was a pound below goal. Continuing to make more good decisions than poor decisions leads to continued progress - who knew? 🤷🏻♂️ Looking forward to Thanksgiving. My wife and I are going to a snooty…

I didn’t watch the game - past my bedtime, doncha know - but it sounds like an interesting game with enough miscues to put it up for grabs. I was unimpressed with George Picken’s comments blaming the loss on conditions and away game refs. Unless I’m mistaken, the Browns played in the same stadium and conditions last night.…

I haven’t responded because I can’t think of any epiphany or “aha!” moment where things crystallized for me. There’s no point where I had a blinding flash of insight or had a U-turn in my direction. My motivation to start WW at the end of 2007 was a bit of a walk-up, but that’s not the question. I’m reminded that shortly…

Good morning. Anyone else get a “friend” request this morning from a woman they’ve never seen here before?

I hit three of six - fiber, fish, and olive oil. We’ll see how my cholesterol is come December. (Historically it’s good - thank you, Dad.)

I would differentiate between “cheat” as in not tracking and “indulgent” as in eating and tracking foods that are calorically dense. But sometimes an indulgent meal can turn into multiple events, I agree.

Four of a kind - I’m also in the “choosing unhealthy foods” camp. Donuts and candy bars are my nemesis. Shaw’s Supermarket sells king-sized candy bars for $2.49, and it’s “buy two; get two free “ as well. They manage to hit my sweet tooth and my “cheap gene” at the same time.

The Pats lost - and I don’t mind. Expectations for this season were to see Drake Maye progress, and have the team playing decent football by season’ end - regardless of record. Maye is playing smart football, which is probably the best thing about him. The team isn’t getting penalized like they were in the first half of…

Hmm - you’re asking (as I read it) if it’s about accountability or budget. For me, it’s not either/or, but rather about percentages. I think the fact or execution is about knowing how much I can ”afford” I eat, so that I can live within limits. I think the quality of the tracking is about accountability - listing it all,…

Yes and no . . . . The question was “ Do you have a certain day of the week or maybe weekend? that you might depart or eat something thats your favorite food? Knowing that's it’s not in your food plan.” Yes, I have days when I eat something that I wouldn’t normally eat. But also no, because it’s part of my plan.…

Like @Brian_19 I'm pleased with Sam Darnold's good year so far. Proof that no quarterback should have to start their career with the Jets. And I’m philosophically a fan of the Browns, but I don’t think they gave Baker Mayfield a fair shake when he played poorly while playing injured. (And I miss his ads from the stadium.)

Well, I’m not unhappy with this week, so that’s good. I’m still in the Red Zone on both my official Studio weigh-in and the fourteen day daily average, but slowly moving down. The reality is that I put myself fairly deeply into the Red when I did it, and as anyone who watched Titanic knows, it takes a long time to turn a…
