Normally during TOM my bigger clothes fit about right. This month they're still big and my middle size clothes fit well! Also went down two bra sizes.

I have a few tops which are starting to feel too big. I want to reach a point where they are so big on me that I can confidently donate them.

I don't know if this is universal, but this is my experience: if I need to go down a clothing size, sometimes I will stall out on further loss until I've acquired some smaller clothing which fits better. I bought two new pieces last month and now I'm back on losing again. I always resist it, but it makes a difference for…

I've figured out my new eating rhythm to keep from feeling hungry all day while eating a calorie deficit. My needs have changed since 8 years ago when I lost the first 50lbs.

I bought some shorts which are allegedly the same fit as my favorite slacks, and are definitely the same size on the label, but they are too small. Mini goal: have those shorts fit! The downside, when I reach that goal, is that my slacks will be too big. :|

I got up with my alarm. That might sound odd, but I'm trying to climb out of a depressive streak, and part of that is actually getting up when I say I will. Sometimes I need the extra sleep, but I slept enough last night, and now I feel like I have much more time for myself.

Laugh? That's fantastic! Great work so far - I hope you make your goal!

I wanted to stress eat because of a temporary situation at work. Instead, I stopped to notice that I wanted to and worked through my feelings with some friends. After I calmed down I let myself have a small treat and then exercised as planned.

The last time I stress-ate, my therapist pointed out that the reason I do it is because it works, even if it's not the best option and even if it doesn't help that much. Framing it as a coping technique that doesn't work very well but still works a little bit really helped me to try another coping technique the next time I…

Drop back to 153, which is my lowest adult weight. I was there a year ago, but then I stopped making effort and bounced back up to 160 because I was uncomfortable with the attention I was getting. With covid-19, I'm not around anyone to get unwanted attention! Currently back down to 156. After that, I want to see what the…

You're definitely not alone in this. Depending on your physique goals, it might be that you'd be happier with adding muscle at this point, rather than with losing more fat. Muscle adds shape and definition, so your smallest areas like your waist stand out more. It's also worth considering whether your body type is in…

I'm also in the buy-slightly-too-small camp: wearing a 30J now when I ought to be in a 30JJ. The band has stretched out a little, but with weight loss I'm starting to fit into it properly. Chest is the last place I lose though, so this method would last longer for me than it would for you probably. I felt pretty silly…

My gym is a 15 minute walk from my apartment and I always walk. It was 7F and felt like -4 when I needed to go to the gym this morning. I WENT ANYWAY. Also, my workout was great and I upped my squatting weight to 55lbs.

I resisted having a second ice cream bar today. I don't usually buy them, so this isn't typically a problem, but I wanted them for a treat. Hello, moderation. (edited to clarify: it would have put me over my calories and I wasn't hungry, I just wanted the mood boost)

* I'm down a size in jeans! I only bought one pair in the new size and it's too hot to wear full-length jeans right now, so it'll be a few weeks until I start wearing them on the regular. * Related to the previous: my current jean shorts look a bit frumpy because I finally lost some weight from the FRONT!!! I'll never have…

In the past few weeks I couldn't keep within calories (I tracked, but calorie limit wasn't a priority -- grieving a death in the family) and fluctuated up. I'd been at 155.8 before that, as of this morning I weighed in at 157.2, and I want to get back to where I was and below 155. Secondary goal: 150.2 is the threshold to…

I kept up with daily logging after a death in the family a month ago. For the first two weeks I was at or above maintenance calories, this past week I've been above goal calories but under maintenance, and yesterday I finally kept within my daily calorie limit again.

That, at 5'5, I am able to feel at once tiny and really tall. I look in the mirror and just see my arms and legs! I feel so aware of them swinging around.

I have a few clustered together: - reach "Healthy" BMI (5.6 lbs) - reach the 140s (5.9 lb) - have these new underpants I just bought fit perfectly (5-8 lbs? Right now they indent slightly)

I logged daily while I was first losing weight in 2011-2012. I lost 50 lbs and then decided that was enough for awhile, even though I hadn't reached my ultimate goal. I stopped logging from then until this February and kept the weight off -- I fluctuated within the same 5 lbs, but I had learned through the initial weight…

Both NSV and really annoying thing: I went down a band size in my bras and now I no longer fit into my favorite brand/style. Also, friends noticed my weight loss on IG and commented!

This morning after breakfast I noticed how stunning the sunrise was. I usually notice this, so that wasn't unusual, but instead of just admiring it from the window I had the energy to get dressed, throw on a coat, and take a brisk walk out to see it from outside. I was only out for about 5 minutes, but it felt great, and I…

The advice I usually see on the forums for situations like this is to either estimate and log to the best of your ability, do that AND eat a little less than you would usually, or just skip tracking today and pick it up again tomorrow. In any case, keep in mind that today is just one day, and as long as your regular habit…

An additional thing to look at: have you been tracking your measurements? It's possible to lose inches without losing weight.

It depends a bit both on what kinds of exercise you want the bra for and how busty you mean. I currently wear 34H (UK sizing) and love my Lynx Sportswear bra. It's very comfortable, doesn't have individual cups or underwire and it actually contains me well. Their sizing is based on both ribcage and full bust measurements,…

Two for me: 1. Last time I saw my doctor (in January), I was a little over 170. She has no idea that I'm actively working to lose weight, and my mini-goal is to be in the 150s by the next time I see her. I weighed in 162 today and I don't see her for another month, so I think I may get there! She'll be surprised either…

I usually have pretty plain oatmeal -- with a dash of cinnamon and some raw walnuts -- but I also enjoy throwing some finely grated parmesan in! You can cook it with stock instead of water too.

Today I am grateful for compassionate friends and the time to read a few chapters in the book I bought earlier this week.
