Swish coconut oil in your mouth for a few minutes. It does wonders.

Doing squats for a week won't change much. Over many months, now we're talking. I love squats.
-
Lol. Clearly on a bulk then.
-
It's very normal. After a grueling gym session sometimes I'm 4 -5 lbs lighter. Especially if I had a high a amount of carbs and sodium from the previous day.

Bulk salads. You can include low fat meats to bulk it up even more eg. Chicken breast, turkey sausages etc.

I train them 3 times a week. 3 full body workouts. Go for it.

That's a wide sweeping statement. Do cardio if you wish. I recommend it.

It has to come from within. When you make that final "enough is enough" decision. No one else can make you do it but yourself. Also, when you do start to working out, "start where you are". Don't try to do more than what you're capable of. The time will come when you can push yourself past uncomfortable. Good luck.

Lol. You guys still arguing with this fella!?

Just eat natural food and you'll be good. There's nothing complicated about limiting added sugar in ones diet. A few staple meals of mine : Steak & poached eggs, Rice Noodles & Jerk chicken breast, grilled potato wedges & beef burger, Egg fried basmati rice & mince (any kind), Chicken drumsticks & grilled potato wedges.…

So what do you actually eat when you do have that first meal?

"Clean" eating and IIFYM are pretty much the same thing. They're just packed slightly differently. One claims to eat "clean" foods 7 days a week when in reality they usually eat non processed food within the week then loosen the reigns on the weekend and have a cheat day/meal. The other group claims to eat whatever they…

I could be long winded, however I'm likely to have the same conclusion if I were also brief. Forget em'. Do it the old fashion way which has worked for centuries for millions of people. Put the sweat equity in and I promise you you'll be on your way to lasting change. I stress "lasting" because you build up the correct…

Peanut butter & chocolate spread sandwich + 2 chicken drumsticks and a glass of milk. *The most random breakfast ever. I know* Was tasty AF though.

Brilliant thread. I was wondering when one of these would pop up. I myself am a intuitive eater. In my excitement during the early stages of this way of eating I stumbled across this reddit post which describes intuitive eating pin point perfectly. Have a read, it's very thorough and probably answers any questions you may…

@Christine_72 I normally ignore the nonsensical self proclaimed forum professors but yesterday I was in a mood to pull up anyone on anything I had an issue with.

Sounds like you're having a gut reaction to those particular foods. Carbs isn't the problem.

This is side effects of this app that's sort of like the elephant in the room. OP has over eaten at lunch and she's gone over her allocated calories for the day. My question would be are you still hungry? Who said you need to eat dinner if you're stuffed from Lunch? Lol. For future reference don't stress too much about…

Hats off, bravo, you rock, wow! Seriously though, this is incredible. I know for sure this was tough as *kitten* but you fu*king did it! Well done love. You're a thing of beautiful. Great job.

Nope, not at all. I'm simply responding. That's normally the case when two people are conversing. And I don't recall saying her being on it for a week would result in radical changes or any change if that. My point was let her do her, experience what she does and she'll take it from there. Anyway I'm glad you're not…

Nah, not really. The lady said she wanted to try going Paleo for a week and you sounded offended by it. Wouldn't you find more satisfaction being bitter to the people around you in real life rather than folk on a fitness site? You're a special snowflake.
-
I wanna laugh at the ridiculousness of your comment but your mental state is nothing to be laughed at. Everything you spew comes from a sad place. It doesn't take a therapist to see that. Your life must've been tough. It's not too late to fix yourself brother. Also, no one is offended here. I encourage the sharing of…

@ndj1979 You like a debate don't you? You're hilarious. If the lady wants to try her hand at eating Paleo for a week let her do such. Allow her to experience whatever it is she experiences. It certainly wont harm her. You don't have to try and "save" everyone from what they're doing simply because what you're doing works…

@Francl27 I'm not bashing anyone. I was simply sharing my view. You don't have to read what I wrote in an angry voice in your head just because we have different opinions lol. Trust me I don't do angry forum rants. Anyway, that's neither here nor there. Let me elaborate on the point I raised about not taking…

Sounds like your method of weight loss is too restrictive. How many calories do you eat? How many times a week do you workout?
-
What are you eating first of all? We can't tell you what to avoid if we don't know what you're consuming.
-
How about just being satisfied with your achievement? Why the need to reward for everything little thing geez.
-
I can tell you from experience. So long as your mindset is geared towards the right foods and the wrong foods, you'll falter. It's about balance and moderation as well as how you feel after you eat. I'm not saying stuff yourself with donuts but rather eat a donut if you feel like it or pass it up if you don't feel like it.
-
Build your tolerance up. It's not a race, it's a lifestyle. If what you're currently doing is causing you dissatisfaction taper it down a smidge. Build from week to week in terms of workout time/days.
-
Not really. Granted nutritious food is better for the body, however don't restrict yourself from any food group unless you have a medical condition. I don't believe in restriction. That never ends well.
