  • Eat more of what you're already eating lol. Don't make this harder than it has to be.
  • I only think about protein & carbs when eating. With the type of protein I eat in addition to how it's prepared the fats will fall in. I eat 2 meals a day and a snack or sometimes 3 meals a day.
  • There's something you need to address in your life that's causing you to numb the pain with overeating on a regular basis. A void that you need to fill but you're choosing food to fill it. Does that resonate with you PS. Don't give up. Don't give up.
  • Do some more digging on Google + YouTube that'll answer your questions thoroughly. Personally I avoid anything to do with soy. My body functions better without it. All advice is good but you're probably looking for a male POV, here it is. Have a quick read throufh this…
  • A few days +/- everyone's different. Bottom line is, you'll be back for sure. You can use the 10 day set back as a little reminder maybe lol.
  • What foods do you eat?
  • I could supply a bunch of links providing evidence to back my statement but that'll force my hand to a back and forth of my facts vs your facts tennis. I'm not into that. What I can say is this is what I do and i get shredded much quicker vs when I would eat a meal before a workout. Only a matter of weeks in difference but…
  • Yeah I wouldn't weigh myself multiple times a day. That'll *kitten* with your psyche so bad you might truly *kitten* yourself over and binge out of disappointment. I recommend 3 times a week. But if you must weigh daily then do it first thing in the morning and leave it there. That fluctuation throughout the day is simply…
  • Not really because the fact remains the same. You'll burn less fat if you workout with a meal in your stomach vs someone else doing the same work out while on an 16 hour fast with both people eating the same amount of calories for that day.
  • Now that I think about it, yeah, I guess it is just eating normally lol.
  • I see zero ratings are being given to your body lol, an impressive one at that. But fair enough.
  • Couldn't have said it any better. To add to this you'll be buring more fat during a fasted workout vs a workout with food in your stomach. That's science. A quick Google search will validate that if you've any doubts. Personally I train like an animal without the need of any pre workout meal or anything of the sort. As…
  • http://www.iifym.com/iifym-calculator/ Use this. Just be accurate in your own input.
  • That's some effort. Well done man. That was probably more mentally taxing then it was physical.
  • Wow people hate to congratulate. It's not that hard to tip your hat to someone else's success. Well done so far, keep it up!
  • I can relate. I invite to take a look at intermittent fasting. The basic premise is for one to push their first meal later into the day then eat for a set amount of hours until the next meal the following day. So in practice it looks like this - first meal of the day at 12pm then from 12pm to 8pm (you can decide your own…
  • I would imagine it's the same. Providing you're running at the same pace you're comparing.
  • Why does "borrowing from the future" equate to an emotional need lol. Where does that logic come from? Some days my body wants more some days it wants less, so it balances itself out over the week. If I eat more a certain day I tend to require less the next, that's with or without logging. I think using this app one can…
  • OP, don't let anyone tell you in order to successfully keep the weight off, you have to continue to use the app. That's just false. This app is a means to an end. The whole goal of it is for you to be in tune with how you're fueling your body until you get to a point where you no longer need the app. It's not suppose to…
  • Yeah you don't the same cravings once you've stopped eating sugar. However, for me, cutting sugar out permanently isn't sustainable. I just regulate it pretty well. Because the more I do eat of it, the more I crave it.
  • Oh OK, that's quite a bit. But I understand it's not easy abstaining from the "urge". It's an emotional thing. There's a void you're filling up with food. A little introspection and it's easy to spot where the real problem is in your life.
  • Steak or bacon with the eggs? Or an omelette type breakfast with spinach, veggies and others meats. It's easy to get tired of boiled eggs not so much scrambled eggs. For me anyway.
  • This is perfectly OK. Matter of fact I did this 2 days ago. It's fine providing you're still in a deficit by the end of the week. I'm a huge advocate of flexible "dieting". Saying that, that doesn't mean eating all of tomorrows calories today then fasting throughout tomorrow, that's stupid. This is just there if you need…
  • How many times would you say you binge in a week?
  • Do it. It's f*king awesome. You'll be dropping the fat real quick jumping rope. You can do 1 minute on then 1 minute off to get your stamina up. Once you build your stamina you can increase your minutes and decrease your rest time.
  • @eveandqsmom I agree, the calorie deficit is vital no matter ones way of eating. @MaureenRefior I don't get why a bit of fasting would make you do that. You can always break your fast with a decent sized meal. No one said you had to eat rabbit food after fasting.
  • There you go. Just relax and stay conscious around when eating. Mindless over eating can derail ones progress. Especially when your a few lbs away from your goals.
  • @MaureenRefior Lol, please elaborate, I'm curious..
  • Taken from Google (I'm being lazy) Intermittent fasting is an eating pattern where you cycle between periods of eating and fasting. It does not say anything about which foods to eat, but rather when you should eat them. There are several different intermittent fasting methods, all of which split the day or week into eating…
  • Make peace with it any move on. Meaning eat normally tomorrow, don't try to offset this by starving yourself, it wont end well. Just remember, one day of "bad" eating won't hurt you the same way one day of "good" eating won't help yoi, it's what you do consistently that counts. *Note I've binged on 7,000 cals before,…
