Yes I agree with the other users who mentioned the calories from the packaging often does underestimate. I've read a post from a user who mentions it's off by at the minimum 20% (could be more) so be careful with the labels. If you want to get the most accurate numbers using a food scale as others also mentioned wilo help.…

I watched that documentary as well it was super interesting! I definitely agree like maybe making healthier choices for instance instead of getting the crispy chicken I get it grilled as well at restaurants if it's available. Or asking for the dressing to be on the side, so one can determine how much they want to add…

I know this is a super old thread, but I was going to say it would be the weight one feels comfortable with. I'm 5'3 and I was 140 pounds when I was very active, and I had a pretty toned body. I'm planning on getting back to this weight.

Congrats to everyone who posted pics they look great!!

I would recommend aiming to lose 0.5 pounds a week since you're at a healthy weight. I agree with the users who also mentioned mentioned adding strength training.

I'll be honest with you and say that you're eating most likely at maintenance if you're not losing weight the past 3 months. I would recommend you input into MyFitnessPal your weight and height, and have your rate of loss set at 0.5 pounds and see how it goes. The reason I mentioned 0.5 pounds is because that's a pretty…

You've lost a pound congrats continue what you're doing it's clearly working.

@gretsl1 1200 is the lowest recommended for women and 1500 is the minimum a guy should be eating. However, 1200 may not always be a good idea it really depends on how much you actually have to lose. I have 22 pounds I want to lose, so I eat 1500 calories. I'm trying to lose at a rate of 0.5 pounds, but the calorie intake…

Why are you weighing yourself so much? Once a day is enough first thing in the morning after using the restroom. Take a deep breath and a break from the obsession you have with the scale. When you have a chance replace the batteries, and start weighing yourself only once a day. If you want to get a new scale that's your…

I tend to agree with this I only weigh myself once every morning. But if I did end up weighing myself 4 times and one number was a bit higher I would use that number.

You I'm quite the opposite I've noticed as I'm be been trying to lose weight my skin has only gotten better. I do ensure that I'm properly hydrated though are you drinking enough water?

I think you're eating more than you think I know you made a goal of eating less than 1200 calories (which wasn't a good idea); however, since you're probably going by food labels (which does underestimate calories) you're eating more than you think. Since you want to only lose 25 pounds update your information on MFP to…

Spinach and egg? Just curious how are you planning on making like an omelette ?

I agree the digital food scale will help the Op out.

First of all why are you only eating 1000 calories? 1200 is the minimum for ladies. However, since from what I read you're not weighing your food you're probably eating more than a thousand calories. Secondly, what workout are you doing that you think you're burning 700 calories? That does sound like an overestimation.…

I got mine from my local Meijer store they were selling them for $3.75. I think it's a store or location thing. I know my local store it's always full! Haha so my benefit .

Hi! I personally dislike the birthday cake flavor :/ I like the sea salt caramel flavor and chocolate. Enlightened has good flavors as well the caramel oatmeal cookie crunch is pretty good. I also think it tasted amazing.

It might just be water weight I've heard that often people lose a lot of water weight. Continue taking a look at your rate of loss in the next few weeks of it stays the same increase your calorie intake. Also is 1500 the amount mfp provided to you? With your weight numbers I would aim to lose 0.5-1 pound see what your…

I'm 5'2 and trying to go down to 140 pounds a weight that I was before I gained the extra weight.

Aim to lose 0.5 pounds a week will help you have more calories to eat and thus feel less dizzy (unless it's a medical problem). Also why aren't you eating at least 50% of your workout calories? If you're working out and accurately tracking 1400 calories with your burn you could actually have a net of 1100 or even less…
