Interesting. Which do you believe are actually doing harm?

I don't track or make a point of following the GHGs. I remember doing so when I first started on WW, when there were check boxes for water, oil, and multivitamin. I think the others GHGs came later. They all make sense to me, and I think there's value in reminding myself about these guidelines versus getting caught up in…

The question is one I think about all the time. I really don't have an answer (except to the extent "kind of" and "maybe" are, technically, answers), but am very interested in seeing how others respond. I'll share that a huge breakthrough for me in terms of fitness came ten years ago when I accepted that running at age 43…

OMG. I have to look at my pics and see if I have one worthy of sharing. ETA: Did it. The pic is 2 months old and that puppy is growing too fast!

In my new office, Justice is blind and colorful.

Did an uninstall/reinstall and I'm back to the old configuration. Thanks for that suggestion. It was the 3 bar menu thingy that was missing. If that was indeed an update, I hope it doesn't come back.

>Has your focus on improving your weight caused you to look at other areas of your life to see what you can do to improve them, as well For a long time there I would have said yes. Presently, not so much. Years ago, weight loss led to increased interest in running and I was very active with a local running club. I still…

I don't have to wonder. If I am not conscientious about working the plan, I gain weight. Not all at once, usually not very quickly, but the overall trend will be onward and upward. This is basically my life over the past 8 plus years, until I am within sniffing distance of my WW starting weight from 2007.

This is the change: from the homepage, I used to be able to reach a menu by clicking at the upper left. Now, that menu does not seem to exist. To get to the community / forum pages, I have to click on Explore at the bottom of the homepage, then scroll down and click on a link. I use a relatively new Galaxy. I do not have…

I am in a good groove now. Thank you for asking. :) I have thought quite a bit about what tips the balance between not even pretending to be on plan, going through the motions, and successfully working a plan. I've never really been able to put a finger on it. If I I knew what the magic "it" is, I would be living at or…

So true. Portion sizes are so often out of control. The strategy of asking for the take out container at the same time the food is delivered is one I've never been able to pull off, mostly because it's pretty rare that I ever want to carry food home. I had Indian delivered a few weeks ago when the rest of the family was…

I try to eat three meals at more or less the same time of day each day ,and minimize between-meal eating. How important is this? Mildly, I guess. I can deal pretty well with an altered schedule. It can mess with choices if I don't plan.

I'm here, but late. Busy day. Moving the office this evening, so we've been packing and organizing most of the week and especially today.

Yes. No doubt about it.

Man, I have no idea! This year seems different than any other. Very little candy at the office. I think just about everything we bought at home was passed out on the 31st.

I don't think I could hang with double counting. I would probably count calories only and estimate the points. Good luck with it. You're getting double the coaching too, right?

I just figured out TOL. <pats self on back>

I track as I go, usually on the MFP app on my phone. I do not track water, coffee, or diet soda. I try to include everything, so yes to fruit and veg. I track exercise and usually find myself eating into my exercise calories.

I like to remind myself how I felt the first time I was on plan and approaching Thanksgiving. It was kind of nerve wracking as I really did not want to lose momentum. We were going away to a cabin and I was going to be without the online tracker for the first time. This was one of the first things I asked for help with on…

Thanks for posting this. I thought it was just me. Easy to get discouraged, but we're tougher than that. Right?
