Thanks @RoxieDawn . I can't wait to trim down so that my running can improve ! @kshama2001, I run mostly on trails but switch it up and run on concrete. Both hurt.

Yea, it's definitely another beast running overweight. I have been weight training for the past year and do include leg day but I clearly still have muscle weakness so maybe I'll switch the frequency.

I stretch before and after and use a foam roller-- I am not new to running. I have proper foot strike as well so it's def not running form. Also, it's not too much too fast as I can't run more than 5-10 min which is not overdoing it,lol. I never had issues until I gained weight so I know it's due to stress. I am just…

That's true Robin. I have also experienced that as well and it is most likely what Lyle McDonald talks about. To take it a step further, I notice it helps with breaking through as well.

Again, not true. A plataue has nothing to do with eating at maintenance and it doesn't slow everyone down. It also doesn't mean you have to cut MORE calories. Please read more on calorie cycling and other methods to break plataues.

Not true, your body has an amazing ability to adapt to dieting and exercise thus folks hit plataues and need to change things up. If it were as simple as counting calories and exercise 3x per week folks wouldn't hit plataues and/ or slow down.
