I've been going to my gym (PF) for 6 months now. I hit the freeweights room 3 days ago for the first time and I LOVE it! The others are right. You'll feel awkward for a couple of days and then you'll be fine. Good luck!

Started this thing 24 days ago. Now my shorts are starting to fall off (easy, ladies :)) with 2.5 inches of my waist gone. Went to the doc today and my BP was 110/70. Hooray! Quitting smoking is coming really soon! Loving my new life!

I used to have what was roughly a 4th meal every night between 12-1am. For me, I really have been working hard to watch my calories and if there's not enough for a snack, I try to refrain. If there is, instead of whipping up a quesadilla, or something terrible for me, I'll try to go for something healthier. I try to keep…

Welcome! I'm fairly new as well and could use all sorts of new friends! My starting weight was 235 and my goal is 175. Currently 223.2, so I've lost almost 12 pounds in 18 days. A lot to go though! :)

Excellent, thanks! I did just notice that I can select mL's as a unit of measurement for milk and my scale offers mL's as units. I assume there's nothing wrong with weighing it and not having to wash a measuring cup? If not, please let me know. Thanks again for the support, Nikion! :)

Starting weight 12 days ago was 238. Goal weight is 180. Currently 230, so I have a ways to go but I'm psyched!

Can someone explain the above? I started 9 days ago on my journey to losing 50+ lbs and I've been actively excercising and have completely changed my diet. I have been eating "healthy" since then, including brown rice (small portions to avoid too many carbs) instead of white, Brownberry Oatnut bread instead of the white…
