That is the path that I am on, you can look at my diary if you wish.

I have cut out as many processed carbs as I can, and replaced them with vegetables. Carbs and sugar were my Achilles heel. All my soda, or milk intake has been replaced with water, or cashew milk. I have eliminated breads, pastas, and that sort of thing, entirely, and replaced them with almonds when I need a crunchy snack.…

True story. I was at 395, and for the next two days, after exercising, I jumped up to 402, and lost it all over the next night, and was back at 395 in the morning. I panicked too.

NO! not the cows.

I don't give advice openly, as I am probably wrong. I can tell you that going from 440-450 down to 395, has made a huge difference for me. Once I hit 400, I started walking, and have found that it is getting easier and easier. I started at 1.2 miles a day, and am now at 3.2 miles a day. I am not sure how asthma would…

I just started parking 1.64 miles from work and walking. I live in the suburbs, and am not prepared to walk 10 miles one way yet. Keep up the good work.

Everyone can add me as well, I love friend requests, they make me feel special.

Look into a Ford F150, I just got one, and it is so spacious, I don't even have to put the seat all the way back.

I am between 6'6" and 6'7" depending on when I measure. After sleeping, I tend to be on the taller side. I hate chandeliers, also, ceiling fans.

Every body is different. You need to discover what your body needs to lose weight. For me it was carbs and sugar, after cutting those out, I am on my way down. Some people can eat whatever they want and lose weight, my body, loves to hold on to it, and I need to force it to lose. I keep my calories under 1900, and nothing…

That was one of the hardest things I have done so far. Man, I love cookies. But since joining MFP, I can see what they do to my intake, and that has steered me away from carbs, and sweets. Good luck, and I am hoping for your success.

I am in, as well. Hard lessons learned from Thanksgiving, but we will move forward.

I just found out how to open mine.

It's not weird. You should see the looks I get when my 3 yr old niece comes for a visit. Her look of awe, always makes me smile. I wonder if she ever gets a neck ache, looking up at me.

I realize, that I am not a woman, but this is something that actually prevented me from losing weight in the beginning. I thought I would rather be filled out, than have sheets of loose skin. I have realized, now, that I would rather lead a long, active, happy life, than go about my business, obese. I don't take my shirt…

Except I have to duck through some doors, and most chandeliers. At 6'6", sometimes it can be a burden. On another note, I am your go to guy if you need to reach something high up.

This week, I am on 35% protein, 10% carbs, and the remainder is fat. My trainer and I set macros by grams, so it isn't really a percent. I feel you on the protein supplements, I get a lot of shakes, steaks, and other meats in. Cutting carbs, was one of the harder things I had to do, as I love my breads, pastas, and pizzas.…

Welcome back, and I hope you have great success.

That's why I am posting now too!!! I used to just log in to keep track of calories, and exercise, but I think having friends here, will probably help keep us all on track. Good luck, and you have my support.

Man, when my trainer told me to drink over 200ozs of water a day, I thought it was impossible, or I would die of drowning. So far though, it has been manageable, even with the frequent bathroom breaks. I am looking forward to get into weight training soon.

Indeed, that is what I have been trying to get in the habit of doing. I will admit that I dropped the ball over Thanksgiving, but hopefully, I can take those lessons, and carry them on to Christmas. We will see, walking to work each day has been a real eye opener, as I feel like if I am putting that much work into walking…

I am in, I have quite a ways to go, but I will be following along.

Just starting my journey!

I weighed in at 450lbs when I started my diet, and with the help of my personal trainer, and MyFitnessPal, I am down to 395, as of this morning. When I hit 399, I started parking my car away from work and walking to and fro. I am currently at 1.64 miles away. This walking has really helped me with my LNS issues, in that,…

I have been using this app, for about 6 months now, and I love it as well. I am down from 450-ish to 394. 3 days ago, I added walking 3 miles a day to my activity levels, and while my legs are noodles, as I type this, I am motivated to keep it up. Keep up the good work, and stick with it.
