Unfortunately, at your height and weight your tdee is likely to be much lower than a taller person which means that your maintenance allows you to eat less than an average person. The only way to increase it is to exercise more. Still you should be able to lose weight even you are sedentary but it will be at a very slow…

I sent you a request. Merry Christmas.

I lost some weight before mfp but in the first week of mfp nothing at all. I set up a goal of 1 kg a week. Some weeks my weight doesn't change others it moves quickly but the result after several months is an average of 1 kg a week as expected. Any loss is good any weight maintained at lower weight is good as long as the…

If you have just started just eat what you want in smaller portions to reach your calories goal. Unless you have specific health problems you don't need to go low carbs. It can be a choice if you think you will eat less calories that way.

I am 5"6. SW 219 mid June CW 191 I lost on average 2 pounds a week since I started mfp in August. I am currently at 1200 calories per day for a loss of 1.5 pounds a week. I exercise to get 0.5 pound extra loss a week and to get extra calories to eat. I know it is a low goal but it reassures me to set up a lower goal. If I…

Since I started logging my weight 3rd August, I noticed that my weight is the same for 16 days then I keep losing for 13 days and its repeats.

It depends what you mean by avoiding sugar. I eat fruits, bread and other things that contain sugar. Personally I avoid to put sugar in my coffee, I dont eat cakes, chocolates or candies because they are high in calories and don't have much nutritional value. There was a time I was eating chocolates and candies but I…

Make sure you weigh all your food with a kitchen scale. It is impossible to know how much you eat otherwise. For what I understood you are on a diet 5 days a week but forget about it 2 days a week. Correct me if I am wrong. 2 days is enough to destroy all your efforts during the week. Mfp tells you how many calories you…

You get to steps in the menu of my fitness pal the same way you choose you go to Diary or community. On my phone, steps are between app&devices and Blog.

I buy frozen vegetables. This way no added salt usually. The only way to answer your question is to analyse your vegetables in a laboratory. Nobody can answer this question really.

I had this problem with a steps app I have on my phone. It was sync with mfp. It was showing exercise but not the steps. I went in mfp menu. When you scroll down you can see "steps". In my case it was not activited. I turned it on and now it shows my steps.

Weight fluctuates. You can't expect to lose 3 pounds a week regularly. It seems a lot by the way. Don't go under 1200 calories a day and eat some of your exercise calories back.

You should ask your doctor to refer you to a dietetician specialised in pregnancy. It is not recommended to lose weight in pregnancy but depending on your bmi they would recommend you not to put on weight or limit the weight gain to a certain amount. Don't make the decision alone. You need to be followed closely by…

Personally I don't see the point to pay to follow a diet plan that is not necessarily appropriate for me. I am French and I live in the UK. I don't want to follow a British diet. I eat what I like and even if unhealthy I buy some French products I enjoy. Overall I think I don't eat too much processed food. I am close to my…

Do what you think is good for you. Don't compromise because of him. If he loves you he will accept even if he disagrees for some reasons. When you are with him eat what you think is reasonable. If he objects tell him you are a woman you are smaller and can't eat as much as he eats. Do what you have to do and ignore his…

I didn't know about Nexplanon. I Googled it and one of the side effect is weigh gain. Maybe you should get a coil or something that doesn't affect weight. Talk to your doctor about it.

Eat what you like as long as it is under your calories goal. Walk a lot if you like it. Do some exercise you like. Enjoy everything as long as you burn calories. Do start any crazy diet if you don't like the food and don't trust any miracle pills.

When I drink I find it difficult to stop + I noticed I eat more afterwards. I used to drink twice a week. Now I decided I would drink once week. I drink at home. I weigh my drink and I also reduced the portion per drink. I try to control myself afterwards and avoid food if possible. I know I should reduce ever more. In…

You need to experiment with this. Sometimes exercise calories are overestimated. Eat 50% of your exercise calories. After a few weeks increase or decrease according to your weight loss.

And I am 44.

I live in Wiltshire too. I sent you an invite. I am French by the way. If you look at my diary it is not typical English diet but I drink on Saturday night. It fits in my my calories goal. ;)

You don't say much about yourself. Are you at a healthy weight or do you need to lose a lot weight? What are your stats? If you are at a healthy weight already and it is just vanity pounds you want to lose, focus on your studies. If you really have a weight problem try to spare some calories for the night. If you are too…

I weigh myself before sleeping and in the morning after using the toilet. I always weigh 2-5 pounds in the night before.

On a daily basis I don't mind if I go over one or the other a little bit. I check on a weekly basis. I don't have high blood pressure or diabetes but I think I need to be reasonable on average in order to avoid future health problems. Eat what you like within your calories goal first then look at the sugar or sodium…

I started at 229 pounds. At that time I didn't exercise at all. I was going out of my home once a week and used some kind of transport because I wanted to walk as little as possible. I wanted to focus in my diet first because in the past I noticed exercise made me hungry and I could cut more calories from the diet than…

Mfp would never give you under 1200 calories a day because it is unhealthy to go under. Where 500 a day coming from? Your goal of 2 pounds a week is for obese people not for you. You should aim for a low calorie deficit and your goal should be maybe 0.25 to 0.5 pound a week maximum. Try to be reasonable and aim for the…
