  • Several people have covered what MD's response is, so I won't beat a dead horse. My workplace is planning on implementing social distancing measures. That includes having non-essential onsite personnel work from home and having essential onsite personnel (like me and everyone else who does lab work) split into two groups,…
  • I live in Montgomery County, MD, where there are 3 reported cases. My husband and I live right down the street from a Costco, and it looked like an absolute nightmare when we drove past there yesterday. We also went to Target in Rockville today so my husband could look at cameras and decided to walk around for a little…
  • I do drink diet soda. My favorite is Diet Dr. Pepper, and occasionally I'll drink Coke Zero. It's funny, since I used to prefer regular over diet. Now I'm one of those people who thinks regular sodas taste weird; the only time I'll drink the regular stuff is when my husband and I are sharing a large drink at the movie…
  • I've been binge-watching The Golden Girls lately. Doing so has given me massive cravings for cheesecake! Also Reese's peanut butter cups.
  • Another vote here for "love Nutella, but I have no self control so I don't buy it". I think if you can fit it into your calories and not continue to spoon it out of the jar (like I do), then enjoy your Nutella!

Saturday we indulged and took advantage of a deal at our local pizza place. 24" pizza which came with two free orders of knots (we got one garlic and one cinnamon). We had a lot left over so we had some the next day, and…
  • I have Liletta (similar to Skyla I think), and I have put on weight. But that is because I got really sloppy and lazy with logging and have been eating too much. I'm starting to tighten up my logging and am beginning to lose weight again by being in a calorie deficit.
  • The first time (when I was 160ish lbs), it was when I saw pictures of myself and thought "Holy cow! Is that what I look like?!" Also, I found it was getting harder to tie my shoes if I was sitting on the couch (my jeans were cutting into my stomach). I managed to get down to 130 lbs at one point, stopped logging, and now…
  • I had one done in 2016. I thought the info it gave was worth the money (then again, I was given a discount since I was a student), as it gave me an idea of where I was at in my weight loss. I also had thoracic gas volume measured, though it doesn't affect BF% at all, as far as I remember.
