This is exactly what happenned to my boss, two weeks of shakes : he lost a lot but looked sick and very pale and the next month + 10 kilos... he kept doing that and ended up obese .... when he wasn't as bad in the first place, this diet destroyed him but he was too stubborn to admit it.

I create my deficit through exercise and exercise mostly (training 5 times a week) while keeping the same diet (except alcohol that I have stopped - I use to drink a glads every day). I've already lost a lot and I have only 2.5 kg to go. So for me I'd say 90% exercise :)

My experience is pretty bad with professionals, needless to say I hardly trust them anymore. I was removed the appendicitis when I fact I had a kidney infection (I kid you not!!) it was over the Christmas period when it happened and the on duty surgeon was pretty much drunk (according to my dad, I was pretty much out of it…

I don't count calories at all, nor weight neither logged but I am successfull. I just mostly eat healthy, a cheat meal now and again but I'm training 5 times a week. I use FTP for the blog, training & fitness tips. :)

Absolutely worth it! I did Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in PT (I was a beginner) and it brought me to my fittest in no time. Beside, it was really enjoyable and boost my confidence.

It has been very hard in the past... but I realised that after two days off, I lose weight (!) and I m way more efficient for my next work out, so resting really works for me :) it allows me to improve. but I know everyone is different, listen more your body, he will tell you when you need to rest - give it a go!

I actually don't count calories, it never worked for me... I m halfway through my weigth loss and what works for me is no alcohol and training 5 times a week. I basically eat mostly healthy food that I enjoy as much as I need/want to and have a cheat meal once or twice a week. I rarely drink: 2/3 glasses every 3 weeks...…

You need carbs, have healthy ones thats all. Everything in moderation - except rapid sugars - that works for me :) P
