Lost 53lbs in 10 months
-
I'm 5'8 and lost 53lbs. I started at 198lbs and I reached my goal weight of 145lbs in 10 months.
-
Unfortunately my boobs :( It was the one place I actually wanted to keep fat!
-
This is so great to hear :)
-
Thank you :) And yes your right that's why I wanted to share my story because people don't have to spend hours every day in a gym doing exercises they hate! Just do things you will be consistent with bc you enjoy them and eat healthy and results will come for sure

Strength training is definitely a good thing to do. Muscle will burn fat, you'll be more toned and I have done some of that throughout my weight loss process. But I haven't been consistent with that as much as my walks. Which I'm fine with. It all depends on what your goals are and what you will stick with. If you enjoy…

No I don't do that. That never made sense to me. I just stick to 1300 calories

Wow thanks!!
-
Lol thank you :)

I'm so glad I helped for you to start walking and 90 min is awesome!! And so is the 30 minutes! We have to know when to push ourselves and when to take it easy so sounds like you're doing great
-
Awesome compliment thank you :) Thank you! It truly encourages and motivates me that I've helped others in just sharing my story :)
-
Lol thank you :)

I started at 198lbs and am now 148 so lost exactly 50lbs over the course of 10 months

Damn you look good!! What a transformation you look like a completely different person! I so admire the dedication I know it had to take to change your body like this. Great job!
-
Power walking works for sure! Power is the key word though. Gotta add that power to the walk to get results. Good job with the walking and thanks :)
-
Good for you! That's what I do I walk all over my city. When I walk I like to travel not just go around a circle in a track.
-
Exactly!! I always saw people doing all these things and looked great but I don't care about having rock hard abs or a big butt or muscular arms and I hate all those exercises it takes to get that. Yes I still have a belly and my skin sags more than I wish it would but I am very happy with my new body. Everyone needs to…
-
Thank you! I walk between 90minutes to 2 hours. Today I walked for 90 minutes and the app I used said I walked 5.7 miles. That's pretty much the average I do daily.

I started in the gym for the first month but then membership ended so just took to walking outside more. Everyone is there for the same reason to get in shape so try not to feel bad. You are doing something positive to be healthier so I always admire people I see in the gym. It's the perfect body ones that I…

Eggs/egg whites, oatmeal, almond milk, Greek yogurt, tuna, string cheese, baked or grilled chicken, salmon, shrimp, steak, shiritaki noodles, turkey ground meat, natural peanut butter, whole wheat bread, brown rice, whole wheat pasta, veggie burgers, quinoa, protein smoothies, nuts, dark chocolate and of course fruits and…

Thanks! I had always wanted to be 135lbs but my body would never be able to go that low. Lowest I ever got was 140 and it was very hard to maintain so this time I made 145lbs my ultimate goal so that if I ever gain a few pounds anywhere between 145 and 150 I know I will be satisfied with that. And yes walking is only…

Thanks so much! As far as tips just make sure you have really good comfortable sneakers, make a playlist of fast paced music to give you that push to walk to a fast beat and get something to calculate your progress. I just use a free app on my phone called pacer that calculates everything. That's pretty much it
-
Thank you that really is a motivation to me that I can inspire others. You can totally do it!
-
Oh most definitely I couldn't walk as hard and as much without music. It gives me that push
-
Thank you! That's good slowly your stamina and endurance increases which is another benefit I love. I just use an app called pacer which calculates my steps, time, miles and calories burned. It's pretty accurate so that helps me a lot too knowing my progress
-
1300 calories a day very healthy foods. And like 3 times a month would have a day I wouldn't count calories and eat more relaxed like wine and pizza
-
I'm so glad I helped to inspire you to start walking again :) Pushing a stroller is even harder so good for you and congrats on your progress as well!! And thank you it's nice to hear I look so young lol
-
Technically 39 still lol. But thank you so much :)
-
Thank you!! I start slower to warm up then I'm at a pretty consistent fast pace throughout. The key is music for me. The right music has me walking fast and strong no problem
-
Yes that's how I know I'll be able to maintain bc walking I actually enjoy and it's so easy. Congrats to you too!!
