Love, love this post!!! I had restrictive bulimia for 15 years, I wish I count one two hands how many times I had a feeding tube, or being in hospital. Sometimes we need to stop trying to improve, stop trying to fit into todays standards and gain acceptance and learning that we are good enough the way we are now.

Completely agree!!! It is so wrong and so sad. It is actually pathetic
-
See that is just VERY wrong!
-
Yes, just the original concept of it. I like the idea of health at every size. Even if you are smaller or bigger.

I am not apart of their group or any group. It is too tiring to keep trying to gain acceptance. I do not believe ANY body shaming is right, it goes against everything I believe in. Every body is a great body. Every body deserves acceptance. We do not knowvthe battles face so we have no right to judge.

I do love my body the way it is, no one has the right to tell me otherwise. Just because I love my body the way it is does not mean it is not an excuse to give up. Every day I try my best to eat healthy, I exercise. It means I have reached a different path in my life. It means i spent 15 years with restrictive bulimia and…

Why do I like HAES? Because it's learning to love your body as it is. It is about making the healthier choices, that it is okay if your diet isn't 100% perfect. Its knowing you mentality won't change when or if you lose weight. My body is not here to please others, it has a job to do and does it amazingly well. Yes I am…

life is too short to eat foods you hate.

I have fibromyalgia and pcos, the pain every day is exhausting i am currently on lyrica twice a day. I am following the 16/8 lifestyle for the pcos
-
That's why i am too scared to do it!

For me after restricting for about a year, every week or two weeks i added 100 calories to my diet until i hit my TDEE. It tok me about 4 months to do this. So it can take a long time. Over all it took me about 6 months to be comfortable to how much i was eating.

No he just looked at her and was completely surprised...it really threw him, simply because he could not believe it!!!

This was using the children's percentile chart. Also when the doctor used a child's BMI chart
-
For my 7 year old it is completely pointless. She is a gymnast and trains 8 hours a week, full on training. She has a lot of muscle, she has no fat on her at all, a six pack yet her BMI is close to being overweight?
-
I am doing this for me. Because I deserve it. I deserve to be healthier. Not to follow in families footsteps. To lower my chances of preventable diseases. To teach my girls and show them how to be healthy. So i am not the fat friend. So i generally feel better.

I am finally in the wonderland!! 199.1lbs....over the moon.
-
At your size it would, for me no, but for you yes :) Maybe work on how you see yourself, that can make a huge difference too.
-
Maybe go for 10lbs and take it from there? :) That might make a difference in how you feel. Your BMI is right in the middle of the healthy section, so maybe losing 20lbs would be too much? Taking your BMI down to 19?
-
Your skin looks a lot healthier and clearer. Congrats!!!
-
I'm in the same boat, I found that doing the 16/8 diet helped a great deal with that, also helping with the weight loss too.
-
Congratulations!!! You should feel so proud. You will look amazing for your wedding. I know how amazing it feels to get into a new number, it is a huge motivator!!! You can do 12 kilos no problem. Congratulations on the big date coming.
-
I am still here
-
It IS possible but is it safe? Maybe not...if you had a lot of weight to lose then you could. What's the rush? I am for 10lbs, when you make that aim for 15lbs etc. This is for life :)
-
200.4....so close!!!
-
@DebSozo Her stats were pretty much the same as mine but a little taller. I just did it on MFP and her BMR is 1780?
-
I love fasting, my eating time is from 12-8pm :) I love fasting, my eating time is from 12-8pm :) keep it simple, you will remember, do not stress too much.
-
Me either even with 2lb loss!!! I was near her starting weight and for 2lb loss I was at 1800 calories?
-
For your height and weight that is not enough calories!!! 1200 is too little. Your BMR is 1800 calories. I'm not sure how you have come to the number of 1200?

This is why I like IFing. For me I did it for PCOS because a lot of information stated it could improve symptoms of PCOS. I didn't want to be medicated so I thought why not try it? It has helped with my cycle, my cycle is a lot more regular. I find it easier to lose weight, I'm eating about 1600 calories and losing. I find…

I spent years trapped in them, it's hard to explain why but I'll try my best. I was sick, I went there sick. Yes I did become sicker. They were my friends, people who related to how I felt, they understood me. I didn't feel isolated, I didn't feel like a freak. I felt like I belonged. I know it sounds messed up, it was but…
