This is my lock screen on my phone, which I am forever on. I am a notorious B.I.G candy eater :|

Hey guys feel free to add me! B)

Focus on weekly calorie goals instead of daily! I make sure I'm an additional X calories deficient by Saturday so on Saturday and Sunday I can relax a little and have a few treats :p

This is golden! I have it all screen capped and saved. I'm a serial under eater the moment I get into a diet. I've been worried recently about the impact it's going to have on me long term. I'm only at most 2 months in so I should have time to correct any damage I've done already. Thank you so much for this, it's so easy…

Are you looking at the nutritional information in your food diary and trying to figure out how to reach those goals? Just trying to understand the question

I weigh everyday! Which was awful for me at first, I developed an obsession with the scale numbers until I did more research into why your weight fluctuates so often. Now I still weigh everyday but I also look at my progress chart. As long as that little line is heading south I couldn't care less haha!

Everyone can add me!

Get a podcast or audio book! Or even an album you want to go through. Stick it on and give yourself a goal I.e this walk I'll get through 3 chapters etc. walk until you reach your goal and then walk back home :) that's what I do!

Yes! I came to London in Jan, piled on a fridge worth of weight and am now in the middle of losing it :) it's totally doable with MFP! Scanning barcodes has saved my waistline :)

30 pounds is amazing progress! I know it can be disheartening when it look like you've gotten nowhere but trust the process and let the numbers be your motivation! The look WILL follow! :#

Always happy to be a motivational partner

I'm the same! I basically had to just push my way through the first week until I stepped on the scale and let the weight loss motivate me. Like seriously push, crying all the time, getting so irritated that I wanted to eat and couldn't. Cold turkey worked best for me, but it was a rough fricken turkey

Think of yourself a month from now!
-
Absolutely, I've lost 10kg so far eating at least one tub of chocolate mousse a day haha
-
26 and in London for now! Trying to lose a total of 22 kilos. Add me if you like :)
-
Thanks for clearing that up!
-
Reward yourself with something material instead! Spend that paper ;)
-
I'm 26 too and would love some friends! I'm 5'7 and need to lose 20 pounds :)
-
Absolutely love this idea! I think I need a smack down meal haha

How'd you know? You're right, I can never seem to get my calories up enough. I measure by kilojule, so I'm meant to be hitting 5021 a day but generally only make it to 3300-3600. I just get too cautious during the day and then literally run out of time to eat the rest up.

I'm no fitness expert but I think you may be gaining muscle mass as your lose fat. So your size would change but the scale wouldn't move. Maybe take your measurements and then wait 2 weeks and measure again. If the scale stays the same but your measurements are smaller you've lost fat but gained muscle. Atleast I think…

Amazing!! Well done

In the same boat! Add me!

Oh I was hoping someone would ask this! I was around 55 kilos for most of my adult life. I got on the pill 4 years ago and boom! 21 kilos appeared in a snap!
-
Heyyy ad me and count me in!
-
Hey! I'd love to be part of that!

If you want someone to talk too or to motivate you with slightly abusive yet uplifting rants I'm your gal! (Kidding, but seriously, I'll gladly talk to anyone on the same journey!)
