  • All good advice, but in the end do what works for you, that being whatever you can stick to. Results take time so be patient. Also consider not focusing on losing weight but getting fit. Do that and I guarantee you will lose weight.
  • I really like the UA Record app. Avg and Peak HR, intensity and Will Power. WP is a UA score that is a dynamic rating from 1-10. Each subsequent level is hard than the last and its difficulty over all becomes higher the more you train. Additionally it charts your heart rate.
  • Same approach here, I track the 7 day average. That was one of the hardest things to get over, letting the daily weight undermine my motivation, especially when it was the only number I track. It really helped when I started tracking more than just my weight. It helped me to be indifferent to the daily numbers, all of…
  • Sorry, you can delete that post from ESCgtb2020 - account I created trying to work through access issues with UA: Wow - well stated and definitely a real du'h moment. Of course it's fat we are trying to lose but having it stated out right really changes how you think about. Also with you 100%, weight is just one number to…
  • Quest Peanut Butter Supreme. Pure Protein are good as well. Truth be told, just about any Peanut Butter protein bar is good for.
  • Try setting your Protein to 30%. Set Fat or Carbs to 20% depending on what works best for you. Personally I don't add my CB to my CI, but if I go over by a little I don't worry about it either as long as I stay on target with my macros.
  • I did Banting for 18 months, on and off, and learned that it depends. Flavor there isn't one but to fill the void left there are so many new flavors and textures, many already mentioned above; cauliflower being my number one for potatoes. Pasta, I have not found anything that comes close for me, so I settled for things…
  • The only rule you can't break is the calories you burn have to exceed the calories you take in. There is no right or wrong beyond that, there is only what works for you. Whatever you do decide though, you have to stay with it, so pick a plan you can stick with.
  • Happy Birthday - You have to do what works for you. For me I would have some cake, just a moderate slice. There will always be special times through out the year. Nothing wrong with a little reward for all the effort especially for a special reason. However, I would pay it off with a little less on other meals and extra…
