Maybe you simply have a very sensitiv skin that is prone to redness. You can try to wash your face with some facewash specifically made for sensitive skin. Washing away the sweat is a good idea, it's true that it's all over your body, but the skin on your face is usually more sensitive. You can use a soft towel to dry out…

I think it may be a mix of many things that have already been suggested. Maybe you still have a little fat to lose and is all in your stomach + maybe a little of bloating + posture problems (I don't store fat in my stomach only, but it is often accentuated by my posture, so that is a problem!) + maybe you have little or no…

Thankyou for both of your answers, they are very useful! And sorry for my english for everybody, this morning I just keep making mistakes...

I don't know if you read my post above where I replied to "93639", but I already have a workout routine that works for me. I do groups workout because I don't like to workout alone, there is some cardio but a lot of strenght training too. I have a program for the weight room, and I go there sometimes, but don't find it as…

Oh yes they are easy to find. Walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds are my favourite, I always have them in my pantry. I usually eat them whole, alone or in my yogurt, I can try to make butter out of them, thanks. Actually you could find peanuts just as easily, but they are usually toated and a bit salty, is more of snack... I love…

Nice thred, I'll jump in! Breakfast: milk+coffe and some cookies (trying to switch to a more protein based breakfast, many days I can, not today) Lunch: Whole wheat sandwich with baby spinach, tomato, vegan sliced "mortadella", and pecorino cheese, and a yogurt Pre-workout snack: half a CLIF bar (withe chocolate and…

Your steps should be counted as calories out, but there are many ways to do it: 1) If you own a fitbit or similar, then it will calculate them for you just sync it with the app. You can either put your activity level on sedentary and let the fitbit do the rest (it will add calories everyday, if you move), or select an…

I undestand you, but I really think it depends on the mindset where you come from. In the end, if you want to lose weight consuming less calories, you will either end eating less quantity of tasty foods or a huge quantity of less tasty ones. In my mind the very important thing to learn is balance. Some treats keep you…

The circuit training cals + running cals are 335, exactly the calories that the fitbit app took away, so that's why you have 0 as a total. If I understand it well, if you put in you activity level that you are, let's say, lightly active, and then fitbit tracks that in that day you were below the quantity of activity needed…

Don't you have a trainer in your gym that can help you create your own personal program? Here very gym has it

So my commute is slighly less then 1 hour, but I hade a longer commute in the past, so I know how it feels. I don't like to prepare all my meals before hand, so I just prepare my luch togheter with my dinner, and only chose very simple things to cook that I can cook in less then 30 minutes. As for the time to workout, I do…

1) I haven't quite understood the surplus thing. If you're in a 2000 surplus for the whole 4 weeks, well that's nothing, it's less then 100 cals a day. And you mean surplus compared to your maintenance goal or your cutting goal? If you just eat 100 cals a day more then your deficit, you're still in a deficit, so is norma…

I just mix olive oil with lemon or with (balsamic) vinegar, and a bit of salt. If the oil is good, you just need a bit of that (one teaspoon of olive oil, 5gr, is 45 cals, and is usually enough for a large salad)
-
You could make some rice or spelt salads. It's a great classic of "pic-nic" food, and it could be low cal if you put a lot of veggies and little condiment (just a little bit of olive oil, plus tomato, zucchini, green beans, corn, tuna, feta, pickles, carrots, I'm just throwing in things)
-
Uh, I could put tuna everywhere! Would you rather use canned or fresh tuna? Canned tuna I put it in pasta (i's perfect with just some lemon, or cooked with zucchini, or with tomato sauce, or added to a puttanesca), in salads (usually just lattuce and tomato, with some lemon and olive oil vinaigrette). I like it with beans…

Yeah, now it seems so obvious... :D Ahahah thanks!

Thanks for the tip. I usually do group workouts that are a mix of cardio and strenght. I like them, the teacher is really good and I don't like to work out alone. They are 1h long (but around 45' of real workout), and I go at least 4 days a week. I track them in the app as "Gym - general" or something like that, because I…

I totally agree with you, weight loss is not my number one priority either! I don't want to miss on any social thing just to be a little smaller, I go to eat out with my boyfriend or drink with friends whenever I want, that's way I'm losing oh so slowly, but it's ok for me, I'm not in a rush. It just sometimes irks me to…

Hey thanks! Yes I like greek yogurt! I usually eat it in the affternoon, but I could switch for breakfast too...

I don't understand something: many are replying saying that they tried 1200 but they couldn't do it because for them was too high a deficit. Why did you try? And why are you saying that the problem were the calories? I agree that you should lose slowly, and even more so if you have little to lose, but for somebody 1200 is…
-
I think this way of putting things is wrong! It was not the 1200 per se that were wrong for you, you just had a too high deficit for you build and activity level, so you lost too much too fast without building muscle. If you lost with 1500 it means that 1500 is already a deficit, so 1200 is too much, but it's not true for…

Peanut butter is not easy to find, and I don't know if I like it, I found it quite odd the only time I tasted it years ago. Maybe I'll try again if I find it. Thanks anyway!

Hi, I've got similar stata as you! I'm 5'2" and 57kg, me too I would like to get down to 50/52kg, and I'm rating 1200/1300 everyday. I just wanted to say, since we are small and don't have to lose much, expect your progress to be slow, very slow! I try to do as much strength training as I can (I don't lift weights but I do…

Thanks a lot to all!

I weight daily so I log daily. I weight myself everyday because I like seeing the trends of my weight, how it fluctuates and when. I thought about logging weekly, but I wouldn't know which weight to use and I'm not a huge math fan, so I find it easier to log everyday, when I open the app to log my breakfast I also log the…

I thought you couldn't cook eggs in the microwave... I'll look it up, it would surely be fast and clean

I just typed "risk of fasting" on google and there are a lot of results, I'll just past here the link to one article: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/295914.php It says that intermittent fasting can be good, but there are also some risks, so maybe complete fasting is not advisable. Here it says: " People who fast…

Hi, I don't understand something: what you're doing right now, eating only after 5pm, seems to be working for you, so why are you looking for other patterns? It is not the same as not eating at all for two days, so why are you treating them as if they were? I've seen a lot of posts on the forum of people who eat just like…

I think I can find tortillas, or at least something similar (I'm thinking piadine). Thanks!

Hi, thanks for the advice, and I'm happy you love Italy! I decided to put just 200 cals at breakfast because I like to have something to eat before I hit the gym in the afternoon, otherwise I'm out of energy, and I have low blood pressure too. I also prefer to have two "bigger" meals al lunch and dinner, and not many…
