So glad to hear that she's doing better!! Personally, biotin makes me break out, even at half doses. I use Viviscal. You can buy it at Walgreens or CVS, but it's 20 bucks cheaper on Amazon. Also, you can research some self-oiling massages that work. I like Castor oil, mixed with avocado oil and a few drops of both tea tree…

I supplement with protein powder because I seem to be unable to get all my protein grams otherwise. It's sad, really. Kinda like my inability to do math....I'm unable to consume the required amount of protein daily. The powder is my way of cheating the system, yo

Protein powder is the only way I meet my protein goals. I am following the keto path though, so my needs may be higher than yours. I use Only Protein and I've liked it. Designer Whey's been a good one for me too.

I hate Beyonce. It's not even mild disgust. Like, I really just can't stand her.

You can friend me if you want. We're about the same height. I've almost hit my 70 lbs lost goal. I plateaued at about 45 lbs lost. When I bought a digital scale and really got serious about measuring and weighing my food, the scale started to go down again. I'm still amazed at how far off I've been on some of my estimated…

I have a love/hate relationship with Jillian Michael's booty workout DVD....

Just remember; weight loss begins in the kitchen!! Get your kitchen (eating) in order, and THEN add workouts, etc. For many of us, doing too much too soon guarantees burnout. It's so hard to go big right out of the gate.

I stopped eating pasta. Couldn't justify the calories to myself when there were so many other yummy (and larger portioned) things I could eat....

I LOVVEEE Halo Chocolate ice cream. A normal pint of ice cream has like, 1000 to 1200 cals. An entire pint of Halo has about 260 cals. And it has protein. It's been a great alternative for me. And it's ice cream...not some weirdo alternative.

Keto has worked for both my mom, and myself. It's helped lose my last 10 lbs in a couple weeks. My mom's lost about 67 lbs in four months, and she says it's helped with her inflammation on her hip and hands. I myself am within about 4 lbs of my goal weight. KEEP IN MIND...one size does not fit all. It's worked for us, but…

I learned quickly at the beginning of this journey that, for me at least, I need to track every damn thing that goes in my mouth. Evverrryyythhiiinnggg.......

I have my watch setup to share with my apple Health app, and MFP to share with my Health app, and they sync all my runs seamlessly...but not sure about other workouts?

I've seen great results running about 45 mins / 5x per week, but that's a little more of a burner than walking?

I live in Utah. We have....interesting winters. I started running last Feb, in 25* weather. Wore a nice base layer, jacket, long running pants, a ballcap and shoes...with no socks. Oddly enough, my coldest part were my hands. It feels awesome to get out there when others don't, and once I'm through the first half mile, I…

My local news site has a classifieds section. I got a Nordic Track for winter running for less than $200.00. Keep in mind, most of my runs are outside regardless of weather, but it's still a dang good deal for a treadmill!!!

Running is totally possible. Just start slow. I've learned to LOVE it and lost about 60 lbs doing it. It's also a fantastic stress reliever.

Apples are approx 80 calories...?

Cut out the soda, started drinking water.

I quit, and started running about the same time. I'm now 58 lbs down, and have stayed off the cigs. It can be done :)

My workout gear consists of Nike sports bras and Nike capri running pants....

I'm in this boat. I'm almost 60 lbs down, less than 15 lbs from goal, and I'm within 20 lbs of my 11 year old daughter. People tell me how skinny I am (I'm really not. Still in between a small and a medium) and I just don't see it. Still, every now and then, if I catch a glimpse of my reflection before I realize it's me, I…

I've lost 58, and hardly noticed a change on my navel piercing, let alone my ears...

I work 50-60 hrs a week, and squeeze in near-daily 3-7 mile runs. I always feel much more accomplished when I get my run in before work. Helps that I got a treadmill, so even if I have a sick kid or something, I can still squeeze in a few miles.

I'm not taking it mean :), and I appreciate the input from everyone. I have discussed it with him, and he apologized. The behavior got better for a week or so, then popped up again. We go on date nights a couple nights a week, spend oodles of time together on the weekend, and have a great connection at night. It's just…

Your progress is amazing, you look great!! Congratulations, and best wishes for continued success!!!

I use Viviscal....it's a vitamin for hair, it's about $50 a month, and works well for me.

Thank you all for the input, I truly do appreciate it. Sometimes it's nice to get a fresh perspective!!

I do both intermittent fasting and aim for keto. It's been a good solution for me, though not the only way I've progressed on my weight loss journey. I started at a size 16 US, and am now at an 8. I'm aiming for a size 4, though really for me it's about getting rid of my baby pouch and being able to be comfortable with my…
