I don't think you can really see a huge difference yet, but I'm happy so far! I've been doing Strong Lifts for about 6 weeks now, top pic is day 1, bottom pic is about 3 weeks in, and pic in the leggings is a couple of days ago. So pleased with the difference in my stomach!

U.K. Size 8 but can vary from 6 to 10 depending on shops. I'm happy with my size but I want to look lean and toned, so now it's all about weights and protein!

I boil up 10 or so eggs at the start of the week and make a simple salad with a couple of eggs, a whole tin of tuna, beetroot and then whatever greens I have in the house. Sometimes I add sweet corn/tomatoes etc. It takes 2 mins to make and I do it each morning. If I don't fancy salad, I'll have whatever leftovers we had…

Not really, so far I've been making steady progress with my lifts. I've been at the same weights on my OHP for a while (I find that the toughest lift) but other than that, everything is going well at the moment! Perhaps it will get harder as my lifts increase? I did notice my squat was particularly tough this morning...

London here! Feel free to add me and if you're on Fitbit, message me your email and I'll add you :)

I walk 15k steps every day, even on rest days, and lift 4x a week. If I need a day of completely doing nothing, I take one, but that's probably once a fortnight - I've always been an active person

I normally work out between 7pm-9pm. I eat lunch at about 1pm and then snack a little between 3pm and 5pm. It seems to work for me. If I can drag myself to the gym in the morning before work I don't eat before :)

Thanks guys. The only reason I want to know my body fat is because I'm happy with my weight and want a way to track my progress more so than just inches etc. I think I'll buy some calipers and enlist the help of my girlfriend to take measurements. Thanks :)

I have a Charge HR and love it. I find it really motivating and it tracks my calories burnt throughout the day and also during workout sessions. Couldn't be without it now :)

Thanks for all the ideas

Why would you want your meals to be just 100 cals? That's super low! If you want 100 cal snack ideas then that's different...

Chia seeds. So expensive!

Don't be so hard on yourself for one! It's a process and a lifestyle change, I used to go all out on like hardly any calories per day and tons of exercise and it was so hardcore I would hate it and give up then binge. No wonder I used to hate the idea of starting and had no motivation, because it was torture! Now I've…

I'm 4'11 too and for years I tried to get by on 1,200 cals a day and doing tons of cardio. I wanted to look lean and muscular and never seemed to reach my goals. It wasn't until I started learning about fitness from MFP members that I upped my calories to 1,500 and started weight training. I'm now making good progress and…

Getting a Fitbit and making sure I always walk 10k steps a day, ideally 15k. I love walking now and I do it all the time, I even go out of my way to walk by getting off the train a few stops early in the mornings. I raised my calorie goals and now I eat to fuel my body instead of starving myself. I also learnt about macros…

My BMI is 24 and my body fat percentage is 26% and I still have a flabby tummy despite being a size 8, it sucks but I've been doing StrongLifts for about a month now and I'm starting to see it reduce slightly!! I'm excited to see what it will look like by the end of the year. So stick with it, start lifting and you'll be…

Nakd crunch bars (107-ish cals), low-cal popcorn bags, raspberries, protein bars, cheese strings :)
-
Thanks Mzbek! How are you getting on? have you noticed changes in your body yet doing maintenance and with StrongLifts? Also, do you do any other strength training besides SL? x

Sweets. I don't eat savoury junk food like crisps etc, I've never craved them, and I don't really like fast food or things like pizza etc, but SWEETS are my biggest problem. I could eat bag after bag of sweets. Now if I have some in the house, I tell myself I can have some every day, but only a few. It's the only way I can…

My job is office-based and sedentary, so I try and make up for it. Per week I weight train 4x and do 1 hour of cardio. I also walk between 10k and 15k steps a day :)

I'm 4'11 and asked this the other day, someone on the food and nutrition board told me to calculate my TDEE, which I did online, and it says I need about 1600 per day with my activity level. I eat between 1,400 and 1,600 a day and am trying to maintain my weight and recomp my body :)
-
Everyone feel free to add my, my food diary is open and I'm always looking to see what others eat in a day! I aim for 1,400 but I eat 1,600 ish when I weight train (4x a week). I also have a sweet tooth - oops.

Could it be muscle gain? Or perhaps you are bloated at the moment and that's why you are feeling bigger? Water retention? When it's my TOTM I always get bloated and my clothes are tighter, even if I drink tons of water and try and up the cardio. The joys of being a woman ;)

My girlfriend sometimes comes to the gym with me and tries to eat healthily but I'm definitely the fitness freak in our house. Luckily she enjoys all the healthy food I cook and is always happy to eat what I'm eating, is enthusiastic to try new recipes and foods and totally 'gets' that this is my lifestyle/hobby and never…

You look amazing! Well done :)

I saw the first ever sign of abs definition today without tensing! I've now got the 'line' down the middle of my stomach :)
-
My mini goal is to start seeing some abs definition. Hope I can get there!

I'm so pleased to have found someone with similar stats to me, haha! So hard to be motivated when everyone seems to be 5ft 8lb and has all the calories to play with. Yep, the gym is now a routine part of my life so there's no way I'm turning back now :)

I'm 4'11, currently 120lbs, I've also been 98lbs and looked very thin and frail - gained to like 125lbs, and over the last 2 months have been weight training 4 x a week. My diet is also about 1,400 - 1,600 cals a day, we are like twins (only you're the 'after' version of me, haha!) You look awesome, it's such good…

Awesome! Watch this space ;) It's funny really, I never used to be a huge fan of exercise (always been active but never a gym goer) and for some reason something has 'clicked' this year and I now absolutely love it, can't wait to get down there every day. So hopefully, I will stick to this.
