The question is Katie, are you happy when you look in a mirror? if yes, then your already in a happy place. if no. then what more motivation do you need. if your not happy. then change things. or be resigned to more unhappy in the future. lots of people will beat about the bush with supportive words, but the best…

I had 4 fitbit which all broke I now have the tomtom spark cardio cardio and could not be happier
-
that is me at the moment. i am 3lbs under my target weight, and had set myself a further 6lbs for vanity when i hit the target. i dont think an extra drop of 3lbs will impact on my appearence, stamina or fitness, its more my self proof i can do it. not sure i need to. i am VERY happy with what i currently am

i ride mountain bike. this yr i have had multiple comments from people about my improved speed and agility. carrying 35 less lbs weight seems to have made a massive difference. thats motivation to keep it off.

You can be thinner Or You can be thinner and fitter You decide
-
most of us gained weight because the friends we have in real life where too nice and polite to ever actually tell us we where piling on the pounds. sometimes it takes a strangers honesty to get us on the road to success.
-
i probably average 200km a week on my mountain bike..
-
wow. i could easily save 300 cal's for a decent chicken breast, but for me to waste it on chocolate would be a crime. is it gender based? most men dont give a damn about chocolate.
-
the answer to your question is TomTom Spark cardio.
-
When you get older, then yes. i intend being older when i am 85. but at the moment i am still a child at 52
-
tomtom spark/cardio/runner/adventurer all automatically sync calories to mfp

turn off your computer, unplug the phone, get offline. go outside. do things. walk, cycle, roll around on a skateboard, join a dance class, walk a dog, shop in the frozen meals for one section of the supermarket. MEET people. 50% of people are women. maybe, just maybe some of them may like you. its odd how that works.
-
i had 4 fitbits. all broke. i am now wearing a tomtom spark cardio and wish i had just bought it to begin with
-
I get the same, i am 52. but i ride mountain bike. and am rarely not in the front 25%, there are 18yr olds trailing behind me. Until that starts to change. i dont care less what numbers are in my age
-
they must have replaced thousands of them so far
-
2 or 3 weeks depending on weather
-
click on their name, then again on their name in the popup
-
i just find it interesting. i can maintain/gain/lose weight and fitness without MFP
-
do you get the same pangs if your not wearing a watch? ie. if you lose track of time, on holiday, or whatever
-
lol. 4 days in, you where sure Hungry. but starving = on the way to death.
-
i agree. i see them used often on here though
-
One will lose weight the other will lose the same weight. but keep you fitter.
-
i wonder if i am unique. i have NEVER had a cup of coffee. i have no memories even as a child of trying it. the smell always turned me away.
-
How long ago was your breakfast? and what was it?
-
3 more lbs lost. purely for vanity. thats my goal. after that its maintenance
-
Ignore the machine. all it does is weigh you and send a small electic current through you. based on the science of how the current passes through it makes some assumptions. Just eat less. excercise more love the new you
