Hey I'm back :( gonna piggy back on your thread a bit... sorry. trying keto... do I actually need to worry about calories. I'm finding on this diet I'm almost never hungry. I eat maybe once a day... is that bad? Feel great otherwise.

Father of 3... As an alternate to the gym... and for an awesome good time... Go play! best exercise I ever had was keeping up with the kids (I'ma big kid). Get on the play structure, Climb those trees, Play kick the can, hide and seek, tag. That's the best diet I ever had, for my body and my soul. 2 of mines are older now…

I went from 325 to 247 doing nothing but calorie counting with MFP over last year... I didn't exercise more then usual, I didn't diet, I still ate junk.... Then october I stopped logging and went back to 277.... so.... I'm back :) So to say MFP doesn't work is crap it works well. It makes me conscious of what I'm doing…

I don't know what keto is so take with a grain of salt but I substitute zucchini straight up in my lasagna recipes. Delicious. I made some yesterday. Slice the zucchini into 1/4"slices or thinner, then I pan fry them until the brown a bit, Layer them in a dish with the rest of your lasagna fixing and bake for about 45…

Flax seeds, one tablespoon of ground flax and three table spoons of water is often a good substitue for egg. That's what I use when I make breads that require eggs. Works great. Not that I have an egg allergy but some of my people do.

Real independent women who make their own decisions and are their own person, the ones who don't need me. I hate feeling needed. Which I know sounds weird but I want my adventure with someone, not by dragging or being dragged by someone. Physical wise I love hair up/necks don't know why. I'm a great cook ;)

I'd say depends on your goals... I ate my daily calories in cake one day, that's all I ate. Still loosing weight. But probably fast tracking to diabetes.... (not advice just a fact calorie is a calorie)

Nope just stick to watching your calorie intake... Weight loss isn't a constant thing. Your body adjusts.

Same here I had to move my ring to my right hand since it keeps falling off my left hand now that I lost weight... I lost it so many times now.

10 000 steps is 300 calories more I get to eat. :) I thought it was a lot but realized I walk 5000 steps already part of my normal day. Another 5000 is going for a walk at lunch. It racks up pretty easily.

That was the main reason I put weight back on last time I did the weight loss thing. Less Floating, and finally understanding women. I was always cold no matter what I did. And seeing as I spend all day outside in the canadian winter after my desk job it was horrible. I'm leveraging the under armour discounts to stay warm…

65lbs so far exercise is playing with kids and walking at lunch. Just watching how much I'm eating. I still eat anything I want. Just paying attention to how much.

As Above I had similar issues so I switched to a vegan protein and it seemed to help out alot. Now I don't take any at all, just eat more meat :)

I have a Xiao Mi fit band. I use it's Calories over MFP since MFP seems very high. Xiao Mi calculates about half of MFP / Mapmywalk so I go with that.

Keep track of what you eat using My fitness pal or some other app. Stay under the amount of calories for your target weight loss rate. That's it. Exercise is for your health (but it does help burn more calories so double bonus). But you don't need to exercise if you don't want too. Just watch what you eat.

At your height and weight you're probably burning 2000 calories just lying in bed doing nothing so 1500 calories seems correct.

Canadian.. don't like tims, the food is just ok, coffee is horrible if you like it black surprisingly better with cream and sugar. Like it was designed to be sweetened and creamed. Macdonalds is better coffee. Tims was good when they were very cheap, now it's the same price as starbucks so I'd rather starbucks.

I don't exercise and I'm down 60lbs so far. I'm not even dieting, I eat well and I eat junk. I just eat my calorie Goal from MFP. I do hunt a lot this time of year which = a lot of walking. But I've always done that, and the season has just started so can't really count it.

I eat anything as well and I'm 60lbs down this morning. The key is portion control and Keep track of it.

I had mine synced with google fit(which is synced with my mi band) and Map my walk and noticed it wasn't smart enough to realize both were recording the same thing. Now I just do it manually from the Mi band, or map my walk if I forget my band at home.
