Every day, usually in the evening. Just now I had a cup of hot tea with 2 squares of dark chocolate. Sometimes I’ll have a Yasso frozen yogurt bar, or some ice cream.

My thoughts, based as always on my own experience. Last year when I first started to exercise I didn’t eat back any calories and was eating 1200-1300 calories a day. (Didn’t know better at that time). Reading through the boards, I figured out what net calories were. lol. Turns out I was netting 800-900 calories most days.…

I was always a tea drinker, but recently I’ve begun to drink coffee. I love the smell and enjoy a latte occasionally, but I find myself now drinking a cup of coffee with half & half every morning and sometimes another in the afternoon.

Just input your own ingredients and thereafter when you begin to type it in, it will come up automatically. I eat them often for breakfast using gluten free bread (Celiac), a tablespoon of peanut butter and of course a banana. Love them!

The good news is that you know what to do!

Hi Amy:). I’m 62 and lost over 40 pounds over this past year. For me, it’s had nothing to do with my age and everything to do with staying within my calorie goals consistently. It’s infinitely doable!

Just weighed in, up 2 pounds. Dinner last night was saltier than usual (smoked cheese on burger, chips). I’ve been focusing on maintaining since Thanksgiving and have managed to stay within 2 pounds or so of 130. It’s been a good learning experience for me. Last year between January and October I lost 43 pounds and decided…

Years ago when I was in my 20’s, I tried eating low fat and also cut down my portions. I did lose doing that-about 30 pounds. Right after that, I had my second child and never really dieted again until I was in my late 40’s or so. I tried low carb and lost a few pounds which I promptly gained back when I couldn’t sustain…

I need to be gluten free due to celiac. I get burgers at Red Robbin and Zinburger and both of those offer gluten free fries at my local locations.

Congratulations to you! You’re an inspiration:)

Very cool :-) You look amazing!!

I haven’t tracked for the last week or so. I’m taking it day by day, I tracked for almost a year and I wanna see how I do “on my own”. I haven’t overdone it, really, except yesterday. I had pie with whipped cream and a few more snacks than usual. Probably a couple 2-3 hundred over maintenance. So far, so good. I’m holding…

Welcome in and best of luck with everything!

Happy Birthday! Congratulations on your success and wishes for many more happy and healthy years!

You have officially made my day!

@monkeefan1974 it’s so interesting, my BMI numbers (start to present) are the same as yours and I absolutely agree with the improvements as the numbers continued to lower. Amazing, isn’t it

Yeah, unfortunately we can’t control where the weight comes off. My face looks a lot older with my weight loss so I focus on all of the positives!

My front porch as we speak! lol. These bags are awaiting pick up by Purple Heart. I have another pile of things to go through and hope to take them to Goodwill on Saturday. Looking forward to having my bathroom closet back!

Agree with everyone that pictures will help you see the situation more realistically. Also, I’ve lost 43 or so pounds and find I now wear styles/cuts I wouldn’t have worn at my previous/starting weight. When I wear those more fitted/updated things I can see much more of a difference in the mirror. I have a pair of jeans in…

I shop a variety of places. Kohl’s, Macy’s, JJill, American Eagle Outfitters.... Depends on what I’m looking for.

I’m 5’2” and 1/2 and 62 years old. I started in January at 173, took me almost 9 months to lose 43 pounds. (173-130). I’ve been maintaining since about the first of October, plan to get back to a deficit after the first of the year to lose a few more. Present measurements are 36/29/36, size 4. I have pics on here somewhere.

I walked into Macy’s today and bought a pair of knee high leather boots. Not wide calf, no stretchy material inserts, just normal boots. They zipped right up over my jeans. At 62 years old, this is a first for me.

I like Daisy (regular, not the low fat).
-
The creme brûlée at Capital Grille.
-
I have a square or 2 of 88% dark chocolate pretty much every day and did throughout my weight loss.
-
Me too! Mine don’t fall down as much as stick out awkwardly on each side. It’s especially surprising to me because I’ve never lost enough weight to affect my legs very much (tree trunk legs).
-
Jumping into the “5 more pounds” line!

I want to maintain over the holidays and get back to a modest deficit after the first of the year. I have a bit more work to do
-
I take a moderate dose of Lisinopril and lost weight (183-130).
