Way higher chances of getting athletes foot in the shower vs. just using the weights. That's really the only thing to worry about though. Unless you have an open sore on your foot, then you would need to worry about fungi, bacteria, anything that people have carried in from their "outside shoes, etc.

If you want to be "fit", don't focus so much on the pounds. Watch your calories and create a deficit in order to lose weight. Make sure you doing some strength training if you want to maintain some muscle while losing said weight. Take measurements, work hard, eat good and you'll be in great shape for your 30s.

It won't be long before you're back down on the scale. I lost 100 lbs, then gained 50 of them back and was very discouraged. But, I got back at it and I'm down over 150 lbs total. You CAN do it!

I have a cheat meal every Saturday post work out. I limit it to around 1200 calories of whatever my heart desires; In-N-Out Burger, Pizza, Chinese Food, etc. This is how I keep my sanity and it gives me something to look forward to each week. Again, keyword is MEAL.

Define "ok". Are you trying to lose weight? Then, yes, whatever you eat is fine as long as you eat under your calorie allowance. Nutritional, maybe not so much.

Best thing I ever did was buy a food scale. It's amazing how little and how large some portions of different foods can be.

I would buy a scale, but that's just me.. I can't deal with the unknown lol. Regardless of what the number is on the scale, you are feeling great and that is what's important. Do you work out? Maybe you haven't moved the scale that much, but you've lost some inches (given that your clothes are fitting great)?
