Kinda. Here's a before and recent pic. Left side 117 pounds. Right side 148.

I am in a keto group on fb. Unfortunately, I'm too weak to go back to lifting weights like I did in 2015 and 2016. I switched to light cardio because I'm tired all the time.

I've been huge before when I was obese. Why would I let myself go back?
-
I used the same scales I did now. That includes being weighed at the doctor's (have been going there since 2014).
-
Thank you :) xoxo. And no. I have a fear of bulking actually.
-
No but if you have acid reflux, I recommend not eating late at night.
-
I don't exercise either. I did weight training in 2015 then stopped by mid-2016. Now I just walk around. I'm still a size 0-2 (wearing my same old clothes). But I want my weight back down. Carrying excess weight isn't healthy in the long term (plus diabetes and heart conditions run in my dad's side).

Idk but it's gotta be somewhere... :s

I was called out when I was obese. Mainly by my mother and my sister. "Stop being a pig." "Your legs are getting fat." "You've put on a lot of weight." Etc. Am actually grateful (In a weird way). Sugarcoating isn't always the answer. Tough love works lol.

I had to do a 48 hour water fast before my brain surgery. After surgery, I ended up binging. Never again.

I felt horrible on keto. Too little carbs and too much fatty meat. Was always constipated too and would go 2 weeks without a movement. Literally felt like I had bricks sitting in my intestines after eating a keto meal, and often wasnt hungry until the next day (nauseas). Additionally, I had bad reflux while doing keto.…

This is actually partially true if you have Gastroparesis or Colonic Inertia.

I don't think protein is as important as people make it out to be. I reached my lowest weight, and body fat, with protein 40-75 grams. Updated DEXA scan showed no muscle loss either. My mother isn't very fond of protein or meat as well. Her diet has always been plant heavy and unsaturated fat heavy while not much protein…

I used to be a volume eater (lots of salads, fruits, lean meats, low-fat dairy, egg whites, etc). Sometimes I wonder if that's what contributed to the paralysis of my colon (am getting a colectomy soon). I miss salads :(

I'll gladly share my "excuse". I'm 5'6. Was close to 200 pounds and a size 12 in 2013. Lost around 70 pounds and was 117-121 and a size 0-2 by 2015. Coincidentally, I also began experiencing some minor digestive issues but thought nothing of it so I continued on with my routine of exercise, diet, college, hobbies, and so…

Yes you can. My neighbor called an ambulance on me when I was unconscious and was losing my ability to breath during and after a grand mal seizure. I woke out of it while being rushed to the hospital with oxygen attached. I'd probably be dead if it wasn't for her.

Thanks for trying to explain but im fine with the decent muscle I have according to DXA scan. It might not be a lot but again, getting heavier a second time won't help me (mentally and physically considering I've had chronic constipation since early childhood). I feel heavy enough on a daily basis. Am not in circles; close…

I've been lifting and other resistance training since I was 187 and I was eating around 1400 while losing weight and occasionally more (until my very recent PSMF, which is safe if you read Lyle's book). My body fat started at 42% when 187 and is now 20% so I'm not far from my body fat goal either (16-17%). I'd rather not…

Am 5'6, fluctuate 121-125. Goal weight 109. My highest weight was 187. I got down to about 115 but got stressed out over the last few months after an abusive relationship. Have some current digestive issues too so I tend to bloat a lot and chronic constipation. [Edited by MFP Staff]

I used to follow BMI until I started developing digestive issues (14+ pound intestinal blockage, abdomen swelling, etc). Now I go by DXA scans. They're more accurate. I'm also 5'6. My regular weight is 117-121 but can easily temporarily balloon up to 145 in less than two weeks if I'm not careful what I eat. I'll literally…

2/10... LOL yeah right. I DO have pre-diabetes (she said for type2). Was recently diagnosed. Ironically I'm a young adult, active, a size 0-2, low cholesterol, low triglycerides, and eat healthy. What's the point anymore :|
-
Yes, I've tried eating normally. I didn't resort to the laxatives/enemas and dietary changes until my digestive system spontaneously started becoming impaired (which makes things even more confusing).
-
Would love some MFP buddies, especially those with similar conditions. Have reached my goal weight and at maintenance, but I have IBD and other digestive issues. Am hoping to see other diaries of others on here with IBD.
-
I bloat from anything "diet" or sweetener. I have IBD and GP.

Was bullied in school for being overweight, developed reactive hypoglycemia, ex-boyfriend left me, and my mother was starting to give me a hard time about being overweight (she used to do modeling when she was around my age). Much uncalled for but I'm actually glad that they did lol. Took 3 years to lose though. A very…

Specific Carbohydrate Diet. At least until my UC and GP are under control. Seems to be helping so far in terms of symptom relief. As for calories, I'm getting enough of them and maintaining for now. I wish I could eat more of a variety but for the time being, my digestive system says no.
-
Counting calories doesn't destroy mine. I don't even count calories that much anymore, anyways.

Went from 190 to 115 to 140 (current). My original mistake was crash dieting + no exercise. It ruined my physique so I had to do a short bulk followed by a long recomp. My body fat is actually lower in the third picture than the middle.
-
Idk if I'm 5'5 or 5'6. I keep getting told differently in doctors offices. But here's mine. First picture, approximately 190 pounds. Second picture, approximately 115 pounds (crash diet approach; was not happy with results). Third picture (after short bulk and very long recomp), approximately 140 pounds (and less body fat…

It's not hard. Definitely not impossible. Just saying. Maybe try IF?
