OK. Feeling reassured guys. Thank you..I use my digital food scales religiously and put in EVERYTHING I eat. So I'm not going to worry what the scales say just yet. Yes. I was told the less fat I carry the better. And the first three and a half stone fell off. My Dr told me I could be carrying up to two stone in fluid so I.never know how much fat I'm carrying. I'm riddled with arthritis so not really. But I do try. I've donatello in my first week. Lost four pounds. So maybe the 1430cals is OK for now? I was shocked it dropped down by 230 cals a day when I have so much to lose!! X

Hi mummytobeslim, I think it's OK. Every other diet allows you to carry cals over. As long as we don't binge or cheat it should be fine. I'm not a health guru just a woman trying to lose weight. A few treats here and there make life bearable. Friend me if you like. We can check each others progress and share tips

I didn't use the whole of the calories left over in the end. And 500 of it was in yesterday's allowance any hoo.So had about 250 of my left over cals. So I've lost 4 pounds in my first week. Pleased with that. X
