I’ve returned after leaving for a bit. Gained about 10 pounds after a job change and moving into my new house. Lots of stress and life in general gets in the way.

Best for me- avoid alcohol If I didn’t drink, I wouldn’t binge eat, and I would probably weight 20 lbs less than I am now

You need to lift more weights instead of doing cardio. FAT turns into MUSCLE :D

Achieving ab visibility is tough. You need to get your bodyfat pretty darn low, maybe 6-8% ? I only achieved this once in life. Now im back up to about 17%bf, trying to get to a more manageable 12ish

Phentermine can cause some nasty side effects, like high blood pressure, sleeplessness, aneurysm, etc juat to name a few. Going the medication route is usually not a good idea IMHO. Just be patient and track accurately and exercise some

After trying the massive deficit approach, and subsequently finding myself ravenously hungry every day, i switched to eating my regular calories and having my cardio be my deficit. Im much happier as a result

Ive logged 47 days, only lost about 3.5. Not discouraged at all. And i know the problem. I occasionally havr too much on the weekends and wipe out any losses. Just need to get my weekends under control

I've completely switched to black coffee after years of drinking it lightened and sweetened. Its not easy, but avoiding the extra sugar and fat pays off eventually

I agree on the .5lbs per week loss goal. It will be easier to do, you wont be as miserable

Yep weekends, particularly when alcohol is involved, hurt alot of peoples efforts on this board. I would recommend drinking 1 light beer when out, really nursing it all night if possible. Everyone else will be tipsy so they wont notice. Plus you'll be fine to drive yourself home!

Only want about .5 per week, running about a 500 cal/ day deficit gives me a little wiggle room to cheat and still achieve my goals. Only want 10 pounds off
