26 days 12 hours alcohol free. Drinking takes away my motivation and makes me very unhappy with myself. Since quitting I have gotten on a regular workout routine and feel a lot better in general and even lost 5 lbs.

Eating chemical laden food such as fast food is a recipe for disaster if done on a regular basis. That many calories with negligible nutritional value is not good regardless of calories.

I just recently read Tom Venuto's book Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle. I've been using his full body workout for a month. Here is the link to it. I just saw this and thought I would throw in a few cents worth. If you have access to a shallow pool (chest high water or thereabouts) walk in the water. Currently day 68 with no alcohol. I went 6 months last year to win a bet and after going back, I feel way better not drinking than drinking. If you can get through the first week, it is all downhill from there I find.
