:D I understand. I came home yesterday to a mess, a bad one. The little guy really did have an upset belly. I gritted my teeth, turned a few circles in the kitchen shaking my fists at the walls lol.....then went and cleaned up the mess like a good daddy lol. I actually kept the muttering and language to a minimum :)

That's how I view it now as well, but it required a major mindset change for me. I started with mfp with less than even a basic understanding of CICO, and most of you folks have forgotten more about nutrition than I know. Got to start somewhere, right? :)

I've incorporated body weight exercises into my routine, which is roughly 20% cardio, and 40% each strength and body weight. If body weight fits your definition of lifting, I would do that.
