What was inaccurate about it?

Hello and welcome! It's pretty easy to start logging your meals which is why I love using my fitness pal. Log everything! And if you go out to eat go somewhere where they have their calories listed if not on the menu make sure it's online.
-
That's so crazy! I'm glad that you went further to find out what was causing this, you listened to your body and you knew something wasn't right. I'm so happy that you have this fixed and that even your mood has increased since stopping medication! Yay! time to lose weight!
-
Hey, I'm not new but, I left and came back. Now I'm out to lose 41lbs!
-
We are pretty close! I have 41lbs to lose. I'm trying to lose this in 5 months so I have time for alterations on my wedding dress. I was in the same boat, down to 125 and then I stopped tracking and exercising and it came back! It came back worse than when I started.

Protein helps with the cravings big time! Also if you fill up on high fiber veggies like broccoli you can feel pretty full pretty quick. Beware though, this will also cause gas, lol. I fill up on veggies because they are filling and SUPER low calorie.

Yeah right now I'm in the process of changing how I look at food and how I feel and look at myself. Like saying things like "I do deserve this" or "I can do this!" It's something I'm not used to. I know it's going to be a hard battle but I think I'm so fed up with this that I'm ready to change!

I'm so happy about all these responses ! I no longer feel bad or alone about all of this, thank you so much.

Red meat isn't bad

5'0 160lbs not quite at the 200 mark but you can add me ;3
-
Oh wow! Good luck! Yeah I just ballooned all within a year and hate myself for it. I will send you a request :D
-
Sure I'll add you! More the merrier!
-
That's awesome! Congratulations! Right now I am just doing walking and I feel my back tense up, I will have to see what's going on and hopefully it's not as bad as it feels! Thanks for the advice!

I saw some videos online where they use rollers before lifting and at first I thought it was a little silly looking but it makes sense. IDK, I'm still new to all of this so everything seems weird to me. I'm so sorry you had to go through that pain :C I hope to start doing some lifting to help my back but first I'm going to…
-
Yikes! I'm glad this is working out for you! I know it might not get rid of the pain 100% but I would love to be able to stand up from my desk and not be in pain, haha. And yes I will have to make an appointment about that and see if anything is wrong or if I'm just a fata**
-
I am just starting out. Like I have never really exercised or stretched in my life which is probably why the soreness is there. I will start with doing some stretches and see if that helps but hold off on lifting anything until I see a doctor. I know that it's all about keeping your back straight and not getting tensed up.…

Awesome! Sent some invites out, thanks so much!

Thanks! Guess I've got and appointment with the chiropractor.

I don't have a herniated disc or anything its just sore from sitting down all day. And yeah I figured as much I would have to ask them. Was also curious if anyone had any success stories from lifting weight and back pain.

I'm in the same boat, new to all of this calorie counting and have about 50lbs to lose. It's almost overwhelming. When you meet up with your Doctor they will be able to tell you what you need to work on and give you a better estimate of how many calories you need. My Doctor has me at 1400 since I sit around and do…

That's awesome! I know the feeling but I just stopped sticking with it. My lowest was 100lbs, but I'm also very short now I'm 160!! I don't even know how it happened but I hope to reverse the damage and get my youth back.
-
I did try them. The chewable ones, they don't suppress appetite but they do give you a small boost of energy but caffeine gives you more. They're a rip off and way too expensive.
-
Exactly! Good luck on your journey! I'll send you a request.

Yeah for me I always thought I looked normal and then all the Christmas photos happened. Ugh, just comparing them to last year photos was enough of an eye opener. I'm the same way I start and stop Idk why because the last time I lost weight I was down to 120lbs and I felt really good!
-
Congratulations on the weight you've lost so far! You just gave me some hope :D
-
Yeah same to you! Keep me updated on what works. I just started doing this today so I have no idea how this week will turn out, lol.
-
You gotta get used to getting in a new routine. Like many of the people before me posted, "start making healthy habits" It's easier to put the blame on someone else and I get that everyone does it's when you start becoming more in control of yourself where these unhealthy habits stop.

I love running outside vs the treadmill. I feel you build up a lot more endurance. If you need to run on a treadmill for like rainy day reasons or snowy day reasons, increase the incline to make it mimic a little more to running on the actual floor. I used to run a lot! I could do 7 miles easy but now I'm fat again, lol!…

I have 50lbs to lose too and since I just sit at a desk all day I should be eating around 1200-1300 a day well according to MFP anyways. Not very mobile, which is probably why I gained so much weight. I'm also on the shorter side lol 5'1 as well. I'm going to try doing this but if I feel like I'm starving I'll eat a little…

It's amazing to see what difference 4 months makes! Your faces already look so much happier and younger! Keep going!
