I think you're doing the right thing, giving yourself a break to grieve, and knowing you'll get back on track in a day or two. Food is a comfort for some of us, and you've had a big loss :( Losing a pet is awful.

I am similar - just not big on fruits & veggies. I buy v8 Splash and that helps get something healthy in me. Also, soups with the veggies cooked (basically) to mush are yummy to me. Blueberries are super yummy in lots of things, smoothies, yogurt, etc. Those are worth trying if you haven't yet.

They're doing a 30 day free trial also, you'd just hv to remember to cancel before the 30 days are up, if you decided you didn't like it.
-
I just upgraded to the all access plan too. It works out a lil cheaper than the basic 12 months wld cost

The ones I've seen are like toeless socks with grippy things in the bottom. I never had too much trouble before, but I got a new mat and it seems like I'm sliding all the time now. Can't tell if they'd stay in place or be even worse.
-
Barefoot yoga here, I'm interested in those gripping socks though... has anyone used them?

10 minute trainer was a good start bc the workouts are so short, eases you in. After a couple weeks of that I went to T25 alpha which was also a shorter workout. I moved onto PiYo from there. Depends what type of workout you enjoy. I love PiYo, but t25 was a struggle. If you've not been working out or not in shape I'd…

My mom sent me one for Christmas. It looks fun, but sadly any non damageable flat surfaces are under 4 ft of snow right now
-
A friend of mine did it and was obsessed with it. Not sure of an end result, but know she loved the workouts.

I've bought long sweats from this line, but haven't seen leggings, will hv to look online. Thnx!
-
@carlydogsmom that is a crazy good find! I looked at their website and I hate the idea of spending so much, but to be able to workout in comfort I am willing to do it! Thnx for the info

@jelleigh I have seen an amazing change in the shape of my thighs and my rear is completely different, it is kind of shocking when you notice the change. I wore shorts to bed one night and was like damn?!? It's been so cold, I really hadn't looked at my legs in forever. I had done a month of T25 (definitely not my thing!)…

I would think it depends how far into the program you were when you stopped; and also how long it's been since you stopped. I'm doing PiYo too, I'm on week 5 and it really stepped up intensity in week 4. If you are in good shape and active in other ways you can probably pick it up wherever you left off, but if not you…

I found some online at JCPennys that seem to hv good reviews also. So sick of always having the ones I have up when working out. Fingers crossed!

Thanks y'all. I haven't tried VS or Fabletics. Will check those out. The struggles of a giraffe :)
-
PiYo doesn't require equipment, just a yoga mat T25 didn't either, atleast the Alpha round didn't.
-
I am doing PiYo also! I started on T25 but this is much more my jam. The "Sweat" session kills me, the others, so far, I enjoy.

Feel free to add me - My feed has gone quiet lately, would love some chatty/motivational new buddies! About me: Have about 30#s to shed, 5'11, 35, love yoga, Pilates, my pup & goofy kitten. Enjoy eating and then bitching about how bad I feel about said eating
-
I'm in a similar boat, 5'11 220. Put on about 30 over the past 10 yrs. Would like it to go away :) I'll never be a thin person, but want to be leaner & healthier!
-
5'11 here as well. My body is good at doing expansive stretches (yoga and Pilates) but moves compacting the body are always a struggle and ridiculously entertaining for anyone watching.... think baby giraffe taking its first steps
-
I am 5'11 also. Currently 222 or so. I have gained about 30#s in the past ten years and need to get it off. I've never been a thin person, so I can't imagine getting to there, but would love to be healthier again. I struggle with binge eating as well! Add me, I need motivational buddies!

I started with the Cafe Latte flavor and I'm not super crazy about it, switching this month to Chocolate. Hoping that will be better. I've been having one everyday, I think I'd get tired of anything (short of pizza!) having it day after day. My coach is such a great cheerleader as well and very knowledgeable, so I super…

Lol. Ppl tell me I remind them of someone all the time too
-
I do not. I was curious about others experiences with the product, much like the original poster.
-
Lol. Y'all should go start your own anti Shakeology thread
-
Like another poster said, it is great we can all choose what works for each of us
-
I started on it a couple weeks ago. So far I am liking the product as it does really fill me up & my cravings for junk have waned. It is very pricey, but for the moment am giving it a go. I do like the workouts that come with the program. It's nice to be able to workout whenever and wherever I am (travel a lot for work.)…
