I think its worth it, for me atleast. I have a fitbit charge HR. Im competitive so the challenges help motivate me with friends and I found when I was more aware of how many steps I was taking I was way more likely to be more active. Now its almost religious, I need to reach my step goals, I've gotten out of bed to make…

I'm like this too. I work evenings. I wake up around 10 and have a 200-300 calorie snack before I leave for work at 2, then around 6-7pm at work I eat pretty much all my calories minus the 100-200 I save for a snack when I get home at midnight. It works for me. I feel less hungry this way and am better able to stick to my…

Me! I was you, rather literally. I started at 235 6 months ago, and 199 was my first goal. Now, 6 months later, I sit at 178 and my new goal is 150! Always looking for motivation, and accountability. Some days are harder then I expect lol.

This. Fun story. I dropped from a 20 to a 16 in April. Yesterday I neededto buy work pants and I grabbed the 16s because that's what fit last time and 14s as a "lol no but why not try". Little did I realize, I've been making progress since April and now fit in 12s. I was floored. I could not believe it.

I went on vacation in Colombia with a much smaller, fitter friend. In Bogotá, the elevation is far different than my home in Canada. While my friend nd also got winded, I was winded to the point of needing to stop after a few feet. I felt like I was disappointing her and my myself. I have a love of travel and decided at…

I work nights, but at multiple jobs, so sometimes i work 16 hrs in a 24 hour period. I also go midnight to midnight but if I work more than one shift I allow myself an extra 200-300 snack to account for the extra energy.

Congratulations on your start! I'm in a similar boat. I was 253 on November 27th I'm down to 198 now and am aiming for 150 by new years! I'm all for motivation and support! Good luck love, you're already off to an amazing start!

When I need a Low calorie snack that makes me feel full, I go with nuts (carefully measured to the exact calorie I want... Usually 100-1500) or some instant oatmeal (quarter makes a new steel cut one that's 170 calories. Those usually help me feel full.

For iron; red meat, beans, spinach, broccoli, potato, peanuts.... try to eat it with some vitamin c! For potassium; bananas, avocado, sweet potato, i think spinach but dont quote me

Oh me! I was just having this arguement with myself. I'm done 40 and people have started to comment on it, but I just can't see it. I even rationalize my clothes are loose because they've relaxed after washing. So I'm telling you, I can see it in you, but not in me. You're not alone in that thought for sure.

Ditto. Sometimes I go days before I do open it and then everything loads and mfp freaks out while it tries to catch up lol

Emilybites.com Lightened up comfort food. I sometimes add extra veg or make substitutions but over all, amazing website. Highly recommend the chicken pot pie casserole! Bonus? Most of the recipes are kind and family friendly!

Medical Laboratory Technologist. Not strictly night shifts but definitely a ton of them. Random question... How do y'all structure your meals around a night shift? I can't eat very much during my break at 3am so I'm struggling a bit to eat my caloric needs.

Thanks! I typed that on my phone, auto correct is not my friend. Joking = physical lol. I just purchased a gym membership and will definitely be incorporating inclines into the treadmill. Thanks for the advice! Thanks! I will look in into that.
