Giving away LOTS of clothes that are too big. Seeing my reflection in the mirror and thinking "I look good!" Being able to say no to second helpings and donuts at the office. Looking down and seeing my feet.

I'm in with this one!

I'm glad to see everyone doing so well. The last few weeks I've hardly walked at all due to being sick. I thought I had strep but it turned out to be a nasty bacterial infection along with a really bad cold. Needed antibiotics to get rid of it. Still coughing and I tire quickly but it's finally starting to clear out. The…

This has been tough for me. I thought it would be easy because I have pretty much given up processed sugar but I've been sick the past couple of weeks and for some reason, I've had a major sweet tooth. Friday I had a donut and a brownie. The whole week I've munched on dark chocolate and dined on fast-food takeout. Starting…

You all are doing great. Congratulations! I wish I could say the same but I've been sidelined by a nasty cold (flu?). I thought I had made it through the winter without getting sick but no such luck. Oh well. I'll get back on track when this passes. Keep up the good work everyone.

Great day today!

I have some of her dvds. I haven't done them in a while. I do most of my walking outdoors so I can take my fur kid. He gets depressed when we don't walk. And then I feel guilty. He has me well trained.

Second day of the walking challenge. I'm off to a good start. 4.8 miles yesterday and 5.2 today. How is everyone else doing? Get out there and walk. It's great exercise and relieves stress. Take your spouse, kids, and 4 legged friends with you. Let's log some miles and break through the wall with this challenge!

What is WATP Express?

That's awesome! I try to do at least 4 miles a day but I have to break it up into smaller segments. Some in the morning, then during break and lunch, and more after work. I'm not pushing a stroller but I am being pulled by an 18 pound dog. He makes sure I'm not lagging. Lol

MFPSW 189.5 CSW 153.4 CGW 135 UGW 115 You all have inspired me. I'm up for the weekly goals too. #1 Drink more water. I'd like to drink 8 glasses but I'll be happy with at least 4. #2 Exercise 4-6 days a week in addition to walking. I've made walking a habit. I do 1 to 1 1/2 miles at lunch, 1/2 mile on my break, and 2…

I have big calves too. And I'm very short so that just accentuates their size. Nothing I can do about big calves any more then being short. Accept yourself for who you are. There is no ideal body shape. Being healthy is more important.

That's what I thought. Didn't understand why it was in the food forum. :)

Walking is my #1 exercise. Today I logged my best day yet. 14,043 steps and 5.5 miles! This challenge will be my incentive to not skip a single day.

What is quark? I've never heard of it.

I'm in! I've increased my exercise and I'm ready for some new challenges. Let's do this!

I love the challenges also. I had a rough start this year (maybe others did too.) I didn't lose as much as I'd hoped but I am losing. I think the accountability and support help too. Now that winter is over (Happy first day of Spring everyone!) and warm weather is on the way, I can get outside to do more walking and yard…

I felt the same way. I'm not at all flexible and my weight was holding me back from trying. The class I'm taking is at a local community college. The instructor is really good at correcting form or accommodating different fitness levels. I never thought it would be this much fun.

There are some great free streaming videos here www.doyogawithme.com There's enough here to keep me busy for years.

I'm 57 and I'm taking a yoga class for the first time in my life. I love it! I've found some videos on you tube that are perfect for my level and I do those on my off-class days. I just wish I had tried this years ago.

When I started my journey in September, I couldn't walk a mile without getting shin splints and stopping halfway to catch my breath. Now I'm walking a mile on my lunch hour and two miles after work every day.
