So I should ignore my dxa scan results? Yes or no?

I'm just trying to lose body fat in my stubborn area. How is it body dysmorphia? 29-30% body fat isn't lean, correct? And what if I were to someday want to compete in the future?

I'm not following a specific program. I just alternate between weight machines, cycling, and swimming. And I often end my day with some yoga. I've been doing this for a couple of years. Have lost 45-50 pounds.

Holy crap, you look amazing @sunflowerhippi! Maybe a bulk is really the solution, although it will take a lot of mental strength to get over my thighs probably getting even bigger lol... What's your macronutrients like? I would probably need to adjust my protein/carb/fat intake if I were to do a bulk and some serious…

Running sounds like a challenge lol. Perhaps I could pull it off though. Did your body fat decrease? That's what I'm aiming for.

Thanks. True, I may be being a bit too hard on myself. But the scan even showed my uneven, and rather high fat distribution on my lower half. It's also currently often uncomfortable when I sit down. I've seen women who are amazingly lean top and bottom. That's my goal. And another goal I have is to successfully pull myself…

Thank you for your advice, everyone. I guess I'll keep going then and hope for the best. I'll take your word for it. Might also look into the recomp like the other few people suggested as well. By the way, here are a few pics. I made a collage. They're all current except for the one on the bottom right which was when I was…

My weight is towards the top of healthy range/BMI. But with the slight ribs showing and 23 in waist, skinny arms, etc. I don't know if losing more weight is safe at this point. My body has only been removing fat from my top half and that's it. There's not much to remove from there anymore which is worrying me about the…

Thank you for your answers. Darn it mom, and maybe dad... What's body recomposition? Does it require a special diet and exercise?

Research IBD because nausea and vomiting are common symptoms (which I both experience). Hence, why I can go long without eating and why I start out with a tiny breakfast. Sometimes i skip it.

How about of I start eating one plain sandwich a day and bump my exercise to 3 hours a day. Will that convince you that I'm definitely not overeating?
-
Maybe more than I think but not 500-700 calories more. Especially with the low calorie snacks I eat and small tv dinners etc. Again, I don't eat much. Not a big appetite. If you don't believe me, maybe I'll go on 1,000 calories a day to prove you even more wrong about my "high calorie intake"

How much water?
-
Ok. And some days I only eat 1200-1300. So again, very confusing. I have IBD anyways so I rarely get hungry and don't eat much to begin with.

I weigh fruits and veggies. I use measuring cups for almond milk and cottage cheese, and measuring spoons for salsa and hummus. And as for canned and packaged foods and TV dinners, I scan. I eat the whole thing because I buy them in single portions or small calories (can of tuna, minute rice cups, applesauce cups, small tv…

Nope. Example. Yesterday I had an apple and black coffee for breakfast. Lunch was 2 slices of bread, can of tuna, 2 tablespoons salsa. Snack was 2 pickles. Dinner was a 250 calorie tv dinner (it's easier to measure calories that way). Another snack was 1/2 cup cottage cheese, 4 strawberries, 2 more pickles. I frequently…

Almost 3 weeks :(

So going most of the day without eating won't slow my metabolism down?
-
I fixed it, thanks for correcting me lol. And thanks for the suggestions!

My calories are going to be 1500. HIIT exercises will be 15-20 minutes and all other exercises will be 60 minutes. I'm 5'5 and 135 pounds.
